I was given a canon printer in summer of 2008 when I bought my Macbook. I used it for a year in my dorm, then couldn't use it again after because the cord got lost in the move. I had the printer (and a ton of ink that isn't cheap) sitting in a box for 4 years until I finally thought to look for one of these.
