Good product.
Old ballast was burnt out and instead of warrantying the product, I just ordered another one.

Worked for 6 months
Just the facts. Bought this in September and it stopped working in February. I can't tell you if the car effected the ballast or the ballast itself failed. DDM is usually good stuff. I've bought another set from another brand. In 20 years of ownership, I've not replaced the ballast in this short a time. Usually they last several years. I'm still a fan of DDM though.

Have lasted over 10 years ! In 4 different cars super bright
DDM TUNNING ! I have the same well over 10 years ago from 4 different cars they have seen it all rain snow sleet and heat no problem as long as you take care of them they will last .I highly recommend getting a HID harness with relays it makes the factory power run smoother and it will be brighter. If you’re in the market for HID products or LEDs or any other type of lighting check out the DDM tunning website

Buyer beware. After 15 years I’m no longer buying DDM kits
Bought HIDs from DDM for 15+ years. The photo is of all of the DDM kits that have NOT WORKED in the last 2 years. Something has changed recently and every other kit i recurve doesn’t work. I’ve now spent more in return shipping than what the bulbs cost, and that doesn’t count the ones in the photo that I never sent back. They tell me to flip wires around, all kinds of stuff that never works and is dangerous. They charge me restocking fees and make me pay return shipping every time.I ordered another kit from the company Innovited on Amazon, plugged in and it worked perfectly. After 15 years I won’t be buying from DDM anymore. I recommend staying away from this product.

These don't last...
I tried replacing my DDM ballast with a cheap no-name brand, and had poor results. The bulb (DDM 5000K) ended up flickering and appear significantly more blue than white.I've replaced these multiple times because of premature failure. They are inside of my car's engine bay, so they do get exposed to at least some road salt. Every time I've had a light go out, it was the ballast. When I open up the ballast, the internal components are rusty. For the replacements, I take them apart and run a bead of silicone around the inside. Hopefully that will improve their lifespan.Edit: I ordered one of these on December 18, 2018. Installed it shortly after receiving it, around January 1st. On June 21, 2019, the same ballast I just replaced failed AGAIN. The bulb started rapidly flashing on an off for about 15 minutes before dying completely. I changed out the ballast and it worked fine.THESE ARE JUNK.

Thought DDM was quality
Immediately after installing I was regretting buying these. All my previous ballasts have been Xentec, Innovited, or the like. All of the fore mentioned are relatively cheap, so being these are a bit more expensive I was expecting greatness. What I got was a great looking case and wires which felt well made. Upon installing I immediately noticed flickering, which even the cheaper ballasts I have used never did. I figured maybe it needs time to warm up. Not so! I'm even having problems with both of them shutting off intermittently while driving! A return is in order!
