Bought this for upgrading a lathe. Bolted right up to the mount like it should. Wiring was very easy with a good instruction sheet. I probably should have bought a slower motor, but the lathe has a belt trive internal that can step it down and it is on a VFD to control speed, so it does GREAT.

Customer service was excellent. We worked through the issue and it was resolved. Everything can have issues but the fact that they took time to walk through it and correct the issue means as much. All seemed great till it was hooked up to my vfd. Ran 30 secs then nothing. Vfd gave a fault of internal short. Put old motor back on vfd to see if it was the issue. Nope all worked as it was supposed to. Have contacted the seller will see if there is any resolution.

Works perfectly for a replacement for my compressor. Runs cool and quiet. This is a steal at the price. A doctors replacement was just under $600.

I needed a motor for a variable speed sander. This bolted up easily and works well. It's got all the power and speed I need.

I bought this motor for an air compressor I bought at auction. It has a 2 hp motor that is 3 phase and I needed one that runs on single phase. The description didn't list the size of the arbor and the pulley on the 3-phase motor doesn't fit this motor, but for the price I will find a use for it. I don't know where to find a replacement pulley, so I bought a VFD to run the 3-phase motor. I have a metal fabrication shop and build a lot of projects so this motor will come in handy someday.
