Beautiful cast iron tea pot lined with porcelain enamel for a clear, pure tasting tea. See images above. Fine mesh strainer to allow you to stop steeping the leaves instantly and get the perfect brew. Warmed with water first, this pot allows the tea to remain warm as you enjoy it at your leisure. High grade interior finish allows for easy rinsing out and hand drying so it is easy to look after. Solidly made and FDA compliant materials so it is food safe. Steel handle is lacquered for a durable finish. The capacity of this teapot is measured full to the brim. Once the strainer and tea are added the actual capacity of tea made will be approx 5 ounces less.We are often asked about use on a stove: usually these kind of teapots are not heated directly. Instead the hot water is added to them. And although, yes, this teapot is of such quality that it is strong enough to be heated directly on a stove, there are a couple of important things to bear in mind: 1) Wood or especially gas stoves can leave a very bad soot mark and ruin the appearance. 2) Other types of stove are fine for the teapot - but bear in mind how heavy it is; putting it on a glass top stove can be done but only very carefully since it is very possible to scratch or crack the glass. These beautiful items are made in the original home of the teapot, where they were first invented during the Yuan Dynasty of China. This teapot carries our 100% no-questions-asked money back guarantee so order yours, risk free today!

Huswell makes a nice teapot. This one is really 60 oz
Huswell makes a nice teapot. This one is really 60 oz. 32 oz just to get water up to the bottom of the diffuser. The handle moves effortlessly but stays in place where you leave it so easy to bend over to fill. The interior is enamel and seems to be of good quality. Yes, you can boil water in it but not sure why you would want to. I put 48oz water in my big kettle (and that's about all it holds) and then put 16 oz in the Huswell and set it on the back burner on high while the kettle water boils, it is good and hot and sometimes boiling when I pour the tea water in over the diffuser.. The strainer is about 3 inch in diameter and is nothing special, but very fine. The sellers send you personal emails.

I would buy it again and give it as a gift
The description of this teapot on Amazon is "right on". The handle is secure and it is, sturdy enough to be placed on a woodstove. I purchased another one as a gift for a friend.
