My car has been running smoothly since I started using this Lucas Oil transmission fix. i particularly like how simple it was to add during a routine fluid change. it’s helped my rough shifting go away, and i feel more confident on the road 🚗. glad i tried it out, definitely a handy product to keep in the garage.

Satisfied with how well this item performs. It does the job as described, making my work a lot easier. I’ve used it during busy days at the office and it’s been reliable every time. Glad I bought it.

Good additive. Does not work miracles. Good if you have a transmission with wear. I never recommend doing a transmission flush if your transmission is slipping. Very good for adding lubrication to existing transmission fluid.

Fixed my Valve springs and/or solenoid. I have a 1995 SC400 and it started to randomly shift from 4th to 3rd while going 60+ mph. I wouldn’t call it a slipping transmission. But maybe sticky valves or possible solenoid problem. Could also be due to a dirty transmission filter. However, changing the valves, solenoid, or even the filter would require dropping the entire transmission fluid pan. So I tried the Lucas transmission cleaner and valve lubricant. Followed the instructions and used the entire bottle. (I did drain about 3/4 quart of ATF fluid to make room for the Lucas). Within 10 min of running the car and taking it for a test drive, it fixed the random down shifting. I would say that this stuff is a miracle. Easy to use and worth a try if you have a similar problem.

I used a bottle on my transmission and then drove 500 miles. Then I did a fluid exchange and drove another 500 miles and then another exchange and I added ludegard instant shudder fix and after 1000 miles my transmission no longer slips in 4th gear. It has 150k miles and had only one transmission service at 66k. I don't think my 2010 GX likes to go too long between services before it gets gummed up. This is hopefully a one time fix for me as I plan to service my transmission again at 180k. This is the process that some of the dealership use for the lifetime drive train warranty vehicles. They focus on keeping the fluids clean and conditioning of the internal seals without making them too soft. They're banking on you not keeping it more than 200k or much more than the typical 8 years. With proper care and maintenance you can get most vehicles to 300k and 15 years plus. My 2013 Avalon is at 182k and still operates silky smooth on the road. Almost forgot; this stuff is thick. I don't feel like I wasted my time or money trying it. I've also used other Lucas products on my older 2007 Tundra with excellent results. It won't fix mechanical issues, but it will usually fix or clean up minor issue due to fluid and seal conditions. Good luck.

Great stuff so far my transmission shifts a bit smoother but third is still a bit rough I get it won’t fix broken/warn parts. I only added about 8 Ounces so far 12 is the most you, should go there’s a great video out there explaining what this stuff actually does for your old trans/seals definitely check it out before using. but it’s definitely doing its job I added it to a warm trans after a drive, drove it for a bit and the next morning it was shifting smoother. if I have any problems I’ll update this review.
