M.2 Heatsink Cooler 2280 SSD Double-Sided Heat Sink with Thermal Silicone pad for PS5/PC PCIE NVME M2 SSD(Black）)

Was easy to install, came with instructions. Great design because the fit is adjustable depending on the thickness of the ssd. In my scenario I have a big 5080 graphics card covering the ssd, so it gets practically no airflow. So before installing the heatsink the ssd would idle at 70 degrees Celsius, which is way too hot to idle at. Now it stay at like 42 Celsius. Crazy 28 degree drop but that’s probably only because in my case, it was already at 70 and gets zero airflow.

I installed this SSD heatsink, and it works exactly as expected. Setup was super easy, and it immediately made a difference. My SSD temps dropped from 61°C to 44°C, which is a huge improvement. If you're looking for a reliable way to keep your drive cool, this is a solid choice!

The colored instructions were perfect. I loved the magnetic screwdriver and the five screws and alcohol and drying wipes that came along with it. Make sure to visually inspect between the two heat pads as they both are different thickness.The thinner one goes on the bottom of m.2 and the thicker is on top.I was using a team group mp44 gen 3 m.2. But, this will work on most nvme including gen 4 and maybe even gen 5.I did take off the m.2 sticker and stuck the sticker inside my pc case for reference. I cleaned the residue, etc with the wipes. I also cleaned the mating surfaces of the aluminum heatsink before applying the pads.Installation with the screws and Magnetic screwdriver supplied was a breeze using a criss cross method.Based in the pictures that I posted I feel that it looks great. The heatsink should help maintain its speed parameters and as a heatsink built in I say fantastic functionality.I won't hesitate to buy again and I would use this in the future if the m.2 nvme is exposed and no built in heatsink.It posts! So, this on my m.2 works. Yes, it did work fine without it but, I want this heatsink on it for aesthetics and peace of mind.

Easy to install, someone else’s review mentioned to make sure your motherboard has enough room to accommodate this heatsink because it is a little chunky in size. It comes with thermal strips to adhere to the front and back of your m.2 SSD and has been working well thus farI only took a star off because there was a piece of what looked like a small piece of earwax stuck to the instructions

The heat sink has a clean, simple look. Fit perfectly around a 2TB Intel 670p that only has game files on it. Temperature of the drive under load is now within a degree or two of ambient temperature inside the case, (27-35 C), compared to mid-high 50s without it (same ambient temperatures).I have one installed on a WD Blue 500GB drive on another computer that only has the OS and productivity software, and that drive doesn't go above ambient temperature now. It does look cleaner, which is more of what I was trying to accomplish on that machine.

Fits over an SSD hmve internal hard drive and PlayStation 5 slim. In the photos you can see the temperature difference with and without a heatsink case & thermal pad in Fahrenheit when writing to the ssd. Appears durable. Build qualify is pretty good. You’ll need to adequate space between the case and front of the case so the ssd can be properly inserted. Screws fit perfectly into the case. Comes with a Philips screwdriver that has a magnetic tip.
