It works very well on my roosters

This product killed my rooster, had removed and checked fitment regularly for a month and replaced them a couple times as he would pick at them to shreds. I watched him for several hours after each fitment . I can only assume he lowered his head while sleeping on the roosting bar and the inflexible nylon/ velcro pressed on his neck causing a loss of blood to his head.

Didn't work. Rooster crowed even more it seemed. Tried training them to not crow too. Overall if you have a rooster and it's disturbing your peace and your neighbors you just gotta get rid of it.

Some folks suggested that they don't work, or don't work well. I suppose it depends on the bird, their willingness to crow, and how well you fit these things on them. But they have reduced my roosters to gurgles and squeaks. One of them it worked so well he about stopped crowing probably because he was embarrassed by the pathetic sounds he was making. If one of the birds should manage to get it removed, you can really tell the loud blast of a difference. Pull their hood up on their neck, you put this on right below those feathers. Just don't make them too tight, you want to be able to slip a finger under the collar reasonably well, then watch their behavior, make sure they are breathing OK and eating OK afterwards, and that their combs aren't turning blue... THAT'D BE WAY TOO TIGHT! I haven't had any issues, these are 1 inch wide strap, but a 1.5 or 2 inch with some padding might work even better.

These collars definitely worked. I have a roo who is annoying. I guess we put it on too tight. He was so quiet but not eating. Eventually he started foaming at the mouth! We had to remove the collar. Eventually we put the collar back on. He still crows but not as much. I can hear he wants to crow more but the collar stops him. Definitely does what it’s supposed to. Be careful not to over tighten or you may kill your rooster.

So this did not work at all my rooster is still the same , as loud as ever lol and it doesn’t matter how high , low , or tight I put it , it just didn’t work and I really had high hopes for this product ….hope this helps….

Haven't heard a crow since I put it on him three days ago. He didn't like it at first but he seems fine now. I recommend getting this while your roo is young. I got it as soon as I figured out he was a rooster and hadn't found his full crown yet. I think that probably helps.
