Japanese Ginger Myoga Ginger Paste in Tube 1.34 ounce 38g Japanese Seasoning

Since fresh myoga buds are not yet available to most of us, this little tube of "Japanese ginger" at least provides a versatile way to use it's unique flavor. Mix with tamari and tea for dipping tempura, onigiri, or nori maki--or into a broth for noodles or baked cubes of tofu. Mix into mayo, thin with water and drizzle it over salad or seared tomatoes--oh, you'll think of a lot of things to do with this fine product, then pray along with me that someone in the US will be marketing myoga soon. Even so, a tube of myoga paste is good to have around, to please and inspire.

Disappointed. ...Only a slight Hint of the main reason for Purchase, ...Ginger Aroma! I will stop taking 'short cut' and use the unbeatable Fresh GINGER.

Very easy to use. Great flavor.

This stuff is disgusting and does not taste anything like ginger. After one use in a recipe I tossed it. Just buy fresh ginger or ginger in a jar from the produce department at Safeway, Lunardi's, Smart and Final, etc. It's 100% better and much cheaper.

I bought it to flavor dishes (and desserts) quickly without having to use fresh ginger. But it has this really weird flavor and an aftertaste that doesn’t go away. I also wish they would list the ingredients in the description so you know it’s not 100% ginger.

It was total disappointment, the flavor is not even close to Myoga.
