Munchkin® The Medicator™ Liquid Medicine Dispenser, Blue

Very effective. We tried to use a syringe on our son and he spit out the medicine and cried over the 2.5 ml dosage. This works very well from the outset. Very simple to fill and make sure to get the tabs aligned with the grooves to insure that there are no leaks. Big tip to those who use it. Use it before the major feeding. Once he is fed he will have a lot less desire to latch on to the nipple of the Munchkin. When he is super hungry, he will latch on to anything and poof the medicine will be taken in within seconds. Also be careful when washing the medicine holder since we too notice that the markings cup are coming off.

Dont let negative review fool you. This was amazing. I used it for my daughters acid reflex medicine. She was able to take it no problem unlike the syringe. Does it spill? Yes only if you dont twist it close. Who doesnt know how to close it correctly?? Never spilled for me. Do the numbers come off after many washing. Yes. Yes they do. But i always knew how much meds to give my daughter by putting it in a syringe and then putting it in this because she drank it right away. No hassle.

Our newborn son needs to take heart medicine 4 times a day. Because he is still very small, his prescribed dosages are very small. Thus, it is important that he gets every ml that he's prescribed. The first couple of weeks we fought to give him his medicine with small syringes, but were failing miserably. He was crying and (worst of all) spitting much of it back out at us. We decided to try this dispenser, and another similar product. This one is dramatically better than the other and has greatly improved our life. Now we are able to mix his medicine with just a tiny amount of milk and he takes it enthusiastically. There is hardly a drop left in the container. We can see this because the clear nipple allows us to see exactly how much he has taken. If there is any remaining drops, then we either give it back to him or we use a syringe to suck it out and then only need to give him that drop with a syringe. The difference is unbelievable. He's getting all of his medicine now, and none of us hates the process. Btw, we'd read about the leaking problem and have seen how this happens. If the lid is not carefully twisted on, then it can get hooked on improperly. However, if you are careful to line it up correctly then there is no leak. Neither my husband nor I have had any leaks since we've done this. Given how often we use this - that is saying something. If there are other people facing the sorts of challenges that we've been having, then this medicator is a tremendous help!

Really easy way to give medicine to a baby. It fits up to 2 tsp (10 cc). There are marks on the side of the cup to easily see how much medicine you put in. The cup twists off the pacifier nipple very easily as well as twists back on. It is super simple to clean, the parts all come apart within seconds. The one thing I dislikr is that the nipple tip is a bit harder than a bottle would be. It should be a little softer, but overall has great design and a great way to give medicine.

My son is a year & 3 months. And he’s teething super bad right now! I’ve been trying to give him Motrin & Teeth & Gum Soothing meds and he HATED IT AND PUSHED ME AWAY AND SCREAMED & cried! Until NOW!!! I really thought my son would notice the Meds and THROW THE BINKY ACROSS THE ROOM! But he didn’t! He sucked on the Binky like it was a little bottle of Milk! Mommy tricked him! Worked like a charm! Definitely recommend! These are the GADGETS THAT MAKE MOMS LIFE EASIER! BUY IT!

I never write reviews but this product has incredibly helped us. No parent dreams they may regularly need to medicate their baby. Our son had open heart surgery and has a road to go with surgeries and medications. He's not a huge fan of pacifiers but he takes this without a problem. We were really struggling to give him his meds and when I found this on Amazon it became our saving grace. The cap is difficult to get on correctly but aside from that it holds 10ml more than what we need to give, our 8 month old isn't super coordinated but can hold it easily and has fun taking it himself then playing with it after. I was desperate to get a pacifier medicine dispenser. My daughter, now almost 8 months old, started pushing the medicine out of her mouth when we gave her the regular dropper even though she used to be so good at taking it. She loves her pacifier so I wanted something similar for medicine. I have not had an issue with the medicine leaking out the side like some say. My problem is with the size of the dispenser. For an infant the dispenser is way too large for any dosage of medicine. She doesn't need several ounces so in order for her to be able to drink anything down I have to put in the proper amount of medicine and then fill it with some water to give her something to drink. I shake it which allows me to mix in the medicine and make sure it won't leak at the same time. She takes it just fine and even looks for more when she finishes the dose sometimes so the concept makes sense and works. Its just trying to get a small amount of liquid in to a large dispenser and not have the whole thing used up clinging to the walls of the pacifier before it gets to her mouth. Overall I like the product and diluting it doesn't seem to be a problem (I don't have any prescriptions for her, I just use it for Tylenol and such so please don't dilute any medications for your baby based on my review, talk to your doctor first!) so it works just fine for our purposes and I guess as she grows and needs a larger dose this will become less of an issue. Though hopefully by the time it would really be that effective we will have weaned her off the pacifier. She takes the medicine without a fuss and it doesn't leak all over us so I would rate it a successful product.

unsre Zwillinge bekommen Eisen und wie fast alle Neugeborenen Vitamin D. Das mit der Verabreichung des Eisensafts ist so ne Sache. Gibt zwar ein paar Tricks aber wenn man alleine zwei Raubtiere bändigen muss geht doch öfter mal was daneben ;-) jedenfalls habe ich noch 2 andere Hersteller getestet (das Ergebnis war sehr ernüchternd) bei dem einen hat sich beim ersten Abkochen schon das Material verformt und beim zweiten lief die Eisen-Milchmischung übers ganze Kind, den Body, usw. Gibt ekelhafte Flecken. Ich hatte die Hoffnung schon aufgegeben bis ich diese Schnuller fand. Dank der aufgedruckten Skala (ist aber in OZ) braucht man auch nicht unbedingt was zum abmessen. dann einfach zuschrauben und fertig. Alles dicht und alles wird vom Kind eingesaugt, so wie es auch sein soll. Habe auch schon "Dünnhalsschnuller" aus der Drogerie rein gemacht, funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei. Unser Fazit: Wenn Medikamente dann mit Munchkin!!!

Es de mucha utilidad para evitar que derramen la medicina y con el cupón se toman TODO sin regresar nada. El único detalle que podría encontrar es que no tiene tapa pero cumple bien su función.

Good....if even cap was added to this product..it would have been suited to the price...
