ECCOMen's Mx Mid Gore-tex Ankle Boot

I have chronic pain in my ankle and Achilles and a high arch, and I often have to wear hiking boots as my daily footwear. These boots help me a ton. I own four pairs. I rarely have foot pain after wearing them all day. They are made so well that I don't need inserts. I use these boots more as a walking and working shoe than a hiker, and the Goretex gets to be a bit stuffy. I wish Ecco had an option of this boot without Goretex. I haven't had any of the ripping or tearing that I see in the customer photos here. On a side note, the low top versions of this boot don't fit my foot as well even though they look almost identical to the boots.

Great deal! At this price, this is well worth the money you spend, about a year ago I bought these same boots in black for $180.00. They are comfortable and waterproof! Can’t go wrong with this choice……

I work private security and patrol several properties, and I’ve been wearing these shoes for a couple months now. I have zero complaints. They are comfy and I can stand for hours in them and my feet don’t hurt. I’ve walked in super wet/slushy weather and they kept my feet dry and warm. On hot days my feet don’t get hot, so they also breathe well. The grip is almost too nice. Definitely worth the cost and the wait.

Bought the boots for a Europe trip in December. Water proof. good walking boots. Used the boots down to 40 degrees and feet were not cold.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t really have many complaints about the boot honestly. They broke in easily, felt good, etc. HOWEVER, I’ve never seen or experienced this before, but the laces are so endlessly long that the laces from my left shoes got caught in the upper left hook of the boot on my right foot and literally ripped the material in half on the shoe. It’s weird and doesn’t sound like it makes sense but look at the pics. Won’t be buying again.

I was a bit apprehensive, as I require a wide fit, so I ordered the 12-12.5 and the fit was perfect. I wore them for a few hours, and other than a little rubbing on one ankle (requiring a looser knot), a superb fit, and they look attractive as well.

Nicely fitting boots. They are light in weight and keep the water out. I like them.
