are they can be hanged on nail like canvas, or no?

No, not without a frame or other form of support. These are unframed canvas. But well worth the money. Here's a tip I use: pull the tab off of a coke can and hot glue it to the back of the canvas, then it will hang on a nail, and nobody can see the coke tab.

Has anyone mailed these out in a regular envelopewith 2 stamps? Trying to send some paintings from my son since we are social distancing from family.

I have, but I sandwiched them between 2 pieces of cardboard first for better protection. But I will say this, too. I use acrylic paint on my paintings, and idk if the paint makes a difference, but I noticed that when they were stacked, they stuck together and the paint peeled onto each other in spots. So I wrapped each one in plastic wrap first, and no more sticking.

I think they're about a quarter of an inch. They're not the framed canvas, which is thicker, they're just the board covered canvas. But they are well worth the money.
