When I saw this silicone microwave popcorn popper on Amazon, I had my doubts that it would really work well, but since it was inexpensive and since I want to start snacking on popcorn again instead of licorice and chocolate, I decided to give it a shot. I've made popcorn in it 3 times so far and I have to say that I really like it! I haven't used it with oil yet, just salt. The popcorn pops up quickly and it tastes way better to me than air popper popcorn or the bags that have some weird chemical tasting butter substitute in them! In addition, the silicone popper cleans up very easily in a little soapy water and it takes up very little space. I'm confident that I'll be using it quite often.

This item worked the first time I used it and subsequently does not pop but a third of kernels placed it in. I would like to return it.

We tried this twice.Used white corn the 1st time, did not pop many kernels at all. Hmmm.Ok, next we used yellow corn, bag probably a bit fresher.Not only did not pop many kernels, the ones that did, were small, & worse yet, tasted terrible.Ok.Anyone have any ideas what went wrong?We followed the directions on box exactly, word for word.This is a disappointment.Can't figure out why they don't pop & taste bad.The microwave is new, as of late December, is huge, & about 1200 watts.I have watched through the door & one side of the lid is not sealing. Could that be the problem?Is that usual?That occurred both times, BTW.

I ordered this for a white elephant gift exchange, and I didn't expect much for the price, but the product box was smashed and bent terribly. The product itself is fine because its flexible, but I'm glad I didn't send it directly to anyone.

I think most folks are aware they can make popcorn in a brown paper bag in the microwave, however pre seasoning of choice of fat I.e. Butter to oil will just be absorbed bu the bag. In this handy lil popper I added a bat of butter, 1/4 cup kernels and half a tsp truffle salt and the results were perfectly seasoned popcorn, I did add more butter at the end. I love the fact my ingredients aren't being absorbed by anything but the popcorn! The exterior was hot went I removed it from the microwave, so use caution when removing it as well as the lid. I felt the amount produced in this handy lil gadget is the perfect amount. I just love this! Organic popcorn never tasted so good!

This is such a great idea! Just be very careful when taking it out of the microwave as it gets really hot. I love it because it is just like air-popped popcorn only it is so much easier to make!

Scared to use it, so I sent it back.
