How many feet is 50 db convert to on this hearing device ?

We never got to really use it. Headset fell apart. Used another headset, but person we bought it for could not understand how to use it. He also did not like the tone. It is not so much, how far it works. It amplifies any sound. Softer sounds do not get as loud as close or stronger sounds.
