I feel it’s a good way to start your kids collecting and respecting things of value.
I think it’s important to explain to your kids about the monetary system . Value, government. Generally how life works. Collecting coins is a fun way to teach kids about things that are important in life . Coins have always fascinated me. The intricate artwork. The precious metals. Different values. Government, etc. I’ve always had fun growing up and learning respect. I could go on. But collecting anything is a foot in the door to teach the younger generation. And it’s fun. You can gift coins. You can start at variable levels depending on how much you can afford. Also there is geography lessons as well. Depending on your culture. Coins can be collected of different countries. There’s so many reasons to collect and you can graduate from coins to paper notes. There are commemorative series etc.you can collect by birth years.and some coins get stamped out with flaws. That make the value increase. Enough said.

Nice Addition To Any Collection - Well Struck - Nice Lustre
These pieces are remarkably well made. They're pieces I am proud to add to my numismatic collection and I can recommend them highly. Shame on the U.S. Mint! The exorbitant prices charged today for Proof and Mint sets make owning yearly issues out of reach for most buyers. Ever since the start of the State Quarter Program; Our Mint has gone insane, overcome with endless productions and markups enough to cause a stroke. Proof Sets, or Proof Silver Eagles used to make beautiful graduation or birthday gifts fit within those on a budget. To make a purchase today, one must take out a loan. Again, shame on you U.S. Mint!

They are not real silver
It’s my fault for not reading the description well. It’s ok for a gift to a child. It looks cool enough.
