I bought a pair of these lights to replace a pair of the old-school green plastic floodlight holders and bulbs.Those fixtures always leak, corroding the contacts and ruining the bulb and the fixture. They’re also a fire hazard.These fixtures are very compact, and for the same cost of the old plastic fixtures alone it’s a complete unit, fixture and permanent LED, in an aluminum housing. These small spotlights aren’t as bright as a larger LED floodlight, but they’re perfect for the holiday decorations I wanted lit. They cast a medium spot, with a warm white light.As some reviewers mentioned, the base is small and tippy, so I screwed the base to a 4” x 4” board to make it more stable. The lights come with a ground spike, which I’m not using, but it’s easy to change from the round base to the spike, and the package includes a hex wrench.The 3-prong grounded plugs are sturdy, with a five foot cord. There’s no switch, but my lights are on a smart outlet, so that’s not a problem for me.Time will tell how weather resistant these lights are, but they can’t be any worse than the green plastic floodlight housings, I’ve given up on those.

This plug in light arrived on time and exactly as pictured. You have two options to use the light. I chose to stake it in my front yard. So far it's working well. The only downside is the cord length. It's very short.

Decent build quality lamp, price was a good value. Used it outdoors as a graveyard light on Halloween. Assembles quickly and easily. It is bright and focused. I like the smaller, compact style of the lamp. Would have been better with a longer length of cord to plug-in, but that's what extension cords are for I guess.

PROS~ It is what it says it is -- a LANDSCAPE light -- for use with lighting upwards at distance~ The light produced is very bright~ Using LEDs, it is energy efficient~ It is very affordable- The cord is very solid and clearly designed for outdoor use (indoor being fine as well of course)CONS (really only valid if you are trying to use it as OTHER than a landscape light -- which I am)~ No switch -- it must go through some intermediary system if you want to turn it on or off, or you need to unplug it~ The cord is very shortNOTES on USE for OTHER than intended purposes -- such as illuminating art indoorsThe closer it is to what it is lighting, the brighter and whiter the illumination (of course). In landscape lighting, this isn't really a problem. But if you are using it NOT for its intended purpose but instead to illuminate art indoors, it can be too bright depending on what you are lighting, how far away it is from your piece, etc. I have mine very close. So I have used a light pink gel (a sort of colored translucent sheet, usually used in theater or film lighting) cut to fit the top of my bulb, to soften the lighting of my canvas.If I wanted to be able to turn off my light, as mentioned I would need to get some intermediary on/off switch. Fortunately for me, I want the light on 24/7 as it illuminates the darkest part of my home, dark even during the day, and also then acts as a beautiful sort of night light, too.

The light worked fine... all the colors. The remote didn't unless you were standing right over top of it. That pretty much defeats the purpose of having a remote. Yes... I changed the battery in the remote. It still didn't work.Easy return.

Really like this light fixture, easy to assemble and really brightens up my front entryway.
