Replacement for one that died after a few years. Fortunately it is the same colour as the other items in their line. The red suits my kitchen as it's neutral so gives a little splash of colour toast is wonderful and crispy but leaves a nice chewy centre. But you can cremate it if you want, not me though. The slots are perhaps a little narrow but I rarely toast anything that thick. Feels well built and is relatively easy to clean.

I added the Morphy Richards Venture Black 4 Slice Toaster (Defrost Setting, High Lift Feature - 240131) to my kitchen recently, and overall, I'm very pleased with it. The toaster is of excellent quality and feels robust and well-constructed. The black finish is lovely and adds a modern touch to my kitchen counter. The defrost setting is a fantastic feature, allowing me to toast bread directly from the freezer without any issues. The high lift feature is another great addition, making it easy to retrieve smaller slices without burning my fingers. The toaster arrived quickly and was well-packaged, ensuring it reached me in perfect condition. However, I have noticed that it tends to overcook the toast even on the lowest settings. I suspect this might be due to the new elements, but only time will tell if this issue resolves itself. It’s a bit of a challenge to find the right setting that doesn’t result in overly done toast. Even with this minor flaw, the toaster is still a great buy. It’s stylish, functional, and offers excellent value for money. The build quality is top-notch, and the features are very useful. I would recommend this toaster to others, with the advice to monitor the toast until you become familiar with its settings.

It a 4 slice toaster from Morphy Richards, it replaced a MR Toaster that stopped working that had lasted many years and produced a lot of toast. Hope that this model lasts as long if not longer.

Nice looking, compact toaster. BUT I live in England and not on the continent, I expect the correct plug to be provided. What a cheek. And to add insult I have to pay for the return. Bad form.

Toasts quickly and evenly and has the necessary functions and controls (defrost, reheat). Ot does no hinder the functionality of the toaster at all, but there are strange matching black handles on the front and back of the toaster, not sure what its purpose it so it’s makes the toaster larger than expected.

It's small, compact and certainly does the job. The big disadvantage is when you put four pieces of bread into it they all pop up the same time. Sounds good you say but when two people in my family like opposites - nearly burnt and lightly browned then you have to put two pieces in and toast them and then repeat the same and nearly burn them. Perhaps it's my fault for not realising that there was only one plunger and not two like my old one.

Bought this and the matching kettle. Looks very smart and compact. Can’t believe the price of toasters these days but got it on a deal so good value for money. Easy to use and no complicated settings.
