I purchased this GoPro 10 for mountain biking. Just a few items to point out. It does come with three (3) batteries however, only one battery is a GoPro brand, the other two (2) are aftermarket. I did see where people complained about battery life and overheating. I will say the batteries do run down fast but there are a few things you can do to save battery life: Turn off the front display, use a lower recording format when you can. The HQ videos are great but they cause the processor to work hard which results in battery drain. As far as over heating goes, I watched a lot of videos on usage and battery consumption. What I found it to help reduce the camera from over heating is to use a tripod and fold out the small mounting tabs when you can. This allows for heat to be released. Keep in mind this is a action camera and is intended to be as small a possible. Small enclosed cases retain heat. If the camera is moving (biking, skiing, kayaking, etc air is moving across the camera to help cool it. This camera is not intended to sit on a flat surface for long periods of time (otherwise it will overheat). The off brand batteries seam to be working fine and they do fit inside the camera case. I would recommend a external battery charger. The only way to charge the battery with this camera package is to charge the battery while its in the camera.

The camera is great. The package seems like it’s a good deal but they didn’t include a charging base sure having 3 batteries is great but it would be nice to be able to charge them. The batteries are aftermarket not go pro hopefully they are good quality.

Do not believe in the image of this add. The bundle comes with only two batteries, not three.

Good price and fast shipping, but look carefully as the spare battery is a knockoff. My experience with GoPros are to avoid these at all costs. Upon careful scrutiny you can see that no brand is on the battery in the pic, so just be aware it’s a generic spare battery, which in my opinion is worthless.

Don't buy this camera overheat battery only last 10 min

The two extra "Halcyon 9" batteries don't fit in the GoPro Hero 10. Maybe they were for an older model?They slide in, but are rejected from fully latching due a slightly different circuit connector pattern.

The picture shows all 3 batteries to be GoPro but 2 of them aren’t actually go pro brand.
