This paper is absolutely beautiful! Just ordered more. Quality paper that receives watercolor beautifully! The sparkle shows through your watercolor art, which I love!!! I know everyone may not love glitter but I am one that does😉 I love Paul Ruben paper/journals! His products does not disappoint, and they are a wonderful value! Paper holds its on while layering! No pilling whatsoever! Love it!

I LOVE this watercolor paper! It is my favorite to line and wash, or zentangle on. The light sparkle is my favorite! I have been using the Paul Rubens Watercolor paper for years! The texture is perfect, and the weight of the paper can hold a lot of watercolor. HIGHLY recommend this paper!

Lovely white watercolor paper; good size, good weight, takes lots of abuse. I took a star off because the sparkles do not show thru the paint. SO disappointing!

Watercolors flow beautifully, layers well, and adds a little sparkle to your paintings. I will say the paper warps and buckles more than Arches, but it dries flat. I do find myself being careful with water load on my brushes, but end up satisfied with my finished work as the colors blend the way I expect them to. I probably won't buy more of this paper however since the size of the paper is limited, unlike Arches.

I really love the glitter in this paper. Another artist recommended this paper and glad I bought it. It is a 2 pack of 100% cotton watercolor paper and love painting with my watercolor on this paper. The glitter is not overpowering, just right to add texture and interest to my art. Comes in a nice storage paper envelope to keep the paper from getting its edges damaged!

This paper is affordable enough to use for watercolor practice and if you were to make a masterpiece, you could still keep or sale it, because it is archival. I think it would be great to make Christmas and/or holiday cards with it due to the subtle sparkle.

The main reason I bought this paper was because of the sparkles but setting that aside, I didn’t really enjoy working with this paper. It didn’t blend as well as other papers I’ve tried and when I put masking fluid on it, the removal process took some of the paper with it leaving an uneven texture to work with. Artist tape wasn’t easy to remove either. I think this paper works for simpler paintings like greeting cards but not so much for multiple, multiple layering.

Great watercolor paper, good quality. It's thickness is medium but not in a bad way. The glittery aspect shows through nicely. The paper takes water well without getting ruined. Not the easiest to remove color once it's been applied. If you're looking for a unique watercolor paper, this is it.

This paper is lovely- I use it to paint birds and it takes masking fluid very well without damaging the paper. Has a lovely subtle glittery background effect. I find this paper to be just as good as the more expensive Art Spectrum waterc oolour paper,very happy indeed.

I was not sure about this paper, but thought I would try it for this year's Christmas cards. I was pleasantly surprised. The sparkle is subtle, and as it is hot pressed, it stamped well, but it also took colour well. I coloured my stamps with Distress Ink and watercolour. Used Spectrum Noir markers and also heat embossed the images. All these media worked well on the paper. A little warping soon was remedied by a heavy book.
