Yet again, another incredible blade from Zelite. I was turned onto this brand of knives by a friend of mine who had extensive experience in the cooking world, and was convinced of the *necessity* of having high quality knives. They are an investment, not an expense. When you have a high quality artist's tool like this, it makes everything you do in the kitchen that much easier, that much quicker. So the investment pays out in terms of time saved and ease of use. But it also pays off because you don't have to end up buying new knives. With lesser quality knives, they end up dulling out, being hard to sharpen, and just end up making the tasks you do in the kitchen that much more challenging - eventually forcing you to buy yet another knife. THIS truth is what my chef friend convinced me of! It's funny, because where I used to scrimp and try to "save" by buying cheaper knives in the $25 range, and would just keep using a relatively dull knife as "good enough" - where I used to take that perspective, I've now switched far to the other end of the spectrum. I have actually become something of a knife-knut. I LOVE good knives, and I've become a HUGE fan of all things Zelite. There are some look alikes on the market out there. From what I've seen, there are some that have a VERY similar look, but I'm pretty sure are not the real deal. They are just knock offs. You can tell by the price - with something like this, you don't scrimp on the price. The lower price look-alike options are CHEAPer for a reason. You get my hint? If you want to truly invest in a high quality knife, then get a real Zelite. Their German steel line is an amazing place to start. But I would also bet that as time goes on, if you truly gain a feel for what it's like to use an artful knife, then you might just end up investing in the even higher-end VG-10 line of the Zelite knives. Regardless, you won't go wrong. Buy this knife - you will love that you did!

Great size and sharp knife. Great for cutting or slicing meat. Just made Al Pastor and it was great for the chicken and slicing from the pastor tray. Super sharp. Great for trimming brisket too! Probably my favorite knife now!

Razer shape and well balanced (5 star knife) It feels great in your hands, so great that after I used it a few times I ordered and second knife. Invest in a decent sharpener because after roughly 50 uses, you'll need to sharpen. Once sharpened, it provides the same standard as if it was brand new.

First, I dislike the name branding on the handle, but I wanted something with a generous palm swell, so I thought I would forego the aesthetic give this a try. The shipping was on-time and packaging is nice--gift worthy. The fit and finish is good, and out of the box, SHARP, as sharp as any kitchen knife needs to be. This is my first Santoku, so not sure what to expect. This knife is heavy, especially the handle, which pushes the weight to the rear, which I do not mind as the heft feels good in my hand. I find the blade is a bit swallow for my preference, as my knuckles hit the cutting board when I use a full grip--a pinch grip across the spine seems to be only way I can use this knife, and that is somewhat limiting. With all that, customer service was excellent, and they earned the 5 star rating. This knife is in my block, and has been delegated as my veg cleaver.

Update: the original one I got wasn't sharp at all. They sent me a new replacement one which was a lot better. Not as sharp as I thought it was going to be but still an improvement over the first one. 4 stars for the product and 5 stars for their customer service. not as sharp as I thought it was gonna be. I have a cheap knife from ikea that cuts better. I'll try sharpening the blade and see if that helps.

This is another excellent knife by Zelite. Visually stunning and technically sound, the blade is sharp and well made. Fits great in my hand...light and well balanced. Like other knives from Zelite, it came in a **very** nice box and will make great Christmas gifts! It's a solid kitchen knife that makes quick work of vegetables, meats and fruits. We own about 8 knives from this brand and can't recommend a knife or brand any higher than these guys!

The Zelite Infinity Santoku Knife arrived exactly like the seller said it would on the date specified on purchase. The first thing that strikes you is the Uber cool and quality box that the knife is packaged in. This gives a great first impression and once you get the knife in your hand you realise that no attention to detail has been spared to ensure that there is extremely high quality throughout the product. The knife itself feels very comfortable in the hand with a very good weight distribution and whilst only using it for a short time the grip is very comfortable and I would imagine that prolonged use wouldn't cause any issues to the hand. One thing to be wary of is that the blade is extremely sharp so take care as I found out when I nicked my hand on the back part of the blade, totally careless by me and a lesson learned!! However hand aside this is exactly what I was looking for in this knife. My previous knifes were always an effort to use due to the blade never having been really as sharp as one would expect even after sharpening. No such problems with the Zelite knife, fantastic edge retention and as sharp as it should be. Using the knife was a dream, it cut up the steaks I was preparing effortlessly with little sawing action needed to get through the meat. It also glided through the tougher vegetables such as carrots with ease. It really is an all rounder. Overall a fantastic addition to my kitchen and I can't recommend this product highly enough. Well done Zelite and producing a high quality and Uber cool product.
