Strong, didn't break or strip through heavy use
You never know how well one of these bits will work before it breaks. I was able to use it over a dozen times using a high powered impact that is really too strong for what this bit is rated for due to needing it to break loose rusted bed bolts in a couple F150 truck beds. It broke all of them loose with no issues. I never stripped out or broke throughout taking both beds off.

The fit was perfect and the finish
I've recently discovered OTC tools and they're really a notch above the standard hand tools. This is the correct bit to remove the bellhousing of a newer style 4L60e automatic transmission for GM vehicles. The fit was perfect and the finish, weight, design was also perfect. I highly recommend this as you don't have to press-fit into sockets like other options out there. Worked perfectly on my torque wrench too.

simply the part you need
best ever!!! OMG this has been such a pain to find this socket. So, I took the car to a transmission shop to get fluid changed and they said their standard torx 50 stripped my nut so they couldn't do it. I didn't realize they had such thing as a plus. Anyway I spent a week calling subaru and they kept telling me NO NO NO you have a 17mm or a 15mm or some other incorrect thing. I kept giving them the VIN and they kept saying no subaru has a TP50 torx...i'm like you are ALL idiots I am not blind this looks like a torx socket. Anyway so I figured the best place to get the correct info was actually to call the Subaru manufacturing plant in INDIANA....OMG they had a couple guys that actually worked on the line during 2005 and they said this was actually a secret pre production model that was later outfitted with most of the 2006 stuff but yes parts and pieces were different and it was a TP50 torx. So, with a bit of hesitation i purchased this and it was a perfect fit...i mean PERFECT even with the slight rounding by the standard 50 torx this was amazing. Anyway took it to the local Subaru dealer and they didn't believe me and kept telling me that I infact had switched the plug. I hate people like that just eat crow you animals and apologize that you hadn't the foggiest idea that this could happen. A similar thing happened a few years ago when they put on my tire...after using it for a few miles i noticed a thump...they say i must have hit something and didn't believe me...again 20 miles later same day i brought it back they didn't believe me and said i would pay if i had dented or busted the rim. So, they took wheel of in front of me and felt around inside and a frickin bird!!! a bird(dead and torn up) was inside. It must have tried to nest in the tire at the dealership and when they put the rim on they didn't check it. Again no apology and they said "well that's weird" like i took the tire off the wheel of and put a bird in their. Animals!!!! AGAIN GREAT GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

Legacy GT flywheel bolts
Subaru decided to use this stupid bolt on their flywheels on my 05 Subaru Legacy GT. I bought actual flywheel bolts to replace them but turns out the flywheel is crap and i can't use a socket with it, so these duds had to go back in. This socket fits them perfectly and made removal and torquing back down a breeze. Can't wait to upgrade my flywheel to get rid of these bolts because they're awful.

4L60E disassembly? You need.
If you are working on a 4L60E family transmission, and need to remove the bellhousing, this is the only bit that can work without damaging the bolts. A standard T50 will strip the teeth out of the head of the bolt, even if you exercise extreme care.

Worked great on 2005 Legacy gt dual mass flywheel
After breaking a bunch of regular torx bits trying to get the flywheel off my 2005 Legacy gt I ordered 2 of these and they worked absolutely amazing.
