McCormick Slow Cookers Naturally-Flavored Hearty Beef Stew With Herbs & Onions Seasoning Mix, 9 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I found this sauce/seasoning mix at a little grocery store in central Illinois, while visiting my mother-in-law (I haven't been able to find it in Colorado, which is why I bought it on Amazon). This makes the best-tasting beef stew in my old crockpot. The flavor profile is perfect and the meat ends up nice and brown with a delicious gravy. You don't have to season, flour, and brown the meat first. You just put the raw meat chunks, along with your choice of raw, cut-up veggies (I use potatoes, carrots, onion, celery & mushrooms) into the crockpot, pour this thick liquid over the whole thing and stir to cover all the pieces. Put on the lid, turn it on and eight hours later, great beef stew! My husband likes it and it makes great leftovers (if you end up with any). And it's gluten-free.

If you are making a Pot Roast or Slow Cooker meat with veggies, then this is a seasoning you will want to add. It provides the flavor that makes your meat and vegetables come out perfect. If you have a large crock pot I would recommend using two packets. Hope this helps.

Just add veggies and meat and let it cook! Our slow cooker is SLOW so it took longer than the package recommended but it was great when finished. It is not really thick so you could add some flour-water at the end to thicken it up if you wanted.

I sometimes find this hard to find in grocery stores so, I bought a case! I love the flavor and thickness. My pot roast is always a big success when I use McCormick slow cooker products.

I’m so thankful that I can find these on here bc Walmart stop selling them. It gives your roast the best flavor ever. I don’t think any other package is as good as this one.

Our local Walmart use to carry these and we love them!! When Walmart stopped Amazon was the only place I could find them. Made stew for supper tonight and it was awesome as always!

I LOVE beef stew in the cooler months, but not the work to make it. This is all the flavoring you need! I just layer all the meat and veggies in my slower cooker with McCormick's mix and 8 hours later have delicious stew! I add just a little beef broth to make it more a soup, but that's it. AND it's gluten free!
