ALEX DIY Fashion Weaving Loom

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. She likes crafts and she isn't really old enough for me to teach her crochet or knitting, but this seemed like something similar that she could do. Her grandmother helped her work on it for a little while on Christmas day, then it disappeared into her room never to be seen again. She was able to do it, but apparently it wasn't very entertaining. Oh well.I gave it as many stars as I did because the loom and the yarn were good quality (for a toy) and the package it comes in can be used as a carrying case (so the peices stay together and don't get scattered to the four winds like most of her toys).UPDATE: A couple of years later my daughter dug this out and started using it. She used all the yarn provided to make a short scarf and seemed to enjoy it. I guess she just wasn't ready for it at age 6.

Bought for a Christmas gift, so I'm not sure how to rate on quality or fun value of the item. What I do know, is this seller makes its money off the shipping charges. Almost $11 to ship something weighing 14 oz is too much. I bought a lot of gifts online this year of all sizes and weights. And this was the most expensive shipping and it wasn't the best price for the product either. Hopefully, it's worth it and my daughter likes it.

This product is a basic wooden loom with a few rolls of yarn. My 9 year old daughter and I were excited to make something, but it was our first foray into weaving with yard (so far just potholder loops).Very disappointing instructions. One page black and white, very few words in 4 languages and pretty much useless. Even on you tube we couldn't find anything to help us.This company could have spent literally ten minutes and shot a basic you tube video that would have been an immense help. Considering the rest of this product probably cost about $3 to make and sells for $20+, it the least they could do.

My granddaughter enjoyed working on the loom. She had a little difficulty not pulling the yarn too tight but soon got the hang of it. She was pleased with the little purse she made as her first project. It did not take long to use all of the yarn and purchase more for projects.

Daughter loves it. Made very well. Simple to set up and get started! My 6 yd old loves to make things and this was something I just showed her how to use it and then she was off. She could do it on her own and had a great time. The yard it comes with is bright and colorful and very soft . Very happy

great product. I only wish the groves where you lace the yarn were cut evenly with the same depth.

This was a fun project but both my granddaughters lost interest after awhile due to their busy schedules and the amount of time required for these projects. A lining would be nice for the purse projects.

It was a present for my grand daughter. She really liked it and made the bag.

My 7 year old granddaughter loved it. I bought one for my 4 year old granddaughter as well. I know she will need help but when she saw her sisters she wanted one too!

This item is exactly as pictured and is great fun especially needed to keep little ones occupied. I can highly recommend it.

Having waited numerous weeks for this to arrive, yesterday 13th Dec, I think it is seriously overpriced. I have seen many of these but thought I was getting a better quality paying more.
