Geniusly Clever!
Holy cow this thing is a huge chunk of awesome! It has become a permanent fixture on my stove top! I have had it for about 6 weeks and have been throwing it through the gambit. So far, it has performed flawlessly and passed every test I have thrown at it with flying colors. I have primarily been using it for holding lids and an elevated spoon holder. It has been excellent for that! No more mess on my stove top or counter. The thing that impressed me the most was that it holds my crock-pot lid. We have had a few parties and my crock-pot lid usually doesn't have a place to go while someone is dishing food out of the base. This trivet has been perfect for being able to put the lid on the top section and the used spoon on the bottom. I also use it as a cooling rack for cookies. It worked like a dream and gave me a little more counter space. The best part about using it as a cooling rack is that I didn't have to transfer the cookies to a cross-meshed rack. I could keep the cookies on the original pan and the Trivae allowed airflow to get under the pans. The trivae saved me from dirtying more dishes and kept my stove and counter top cookie crumb-free! I have also splayed this flat to use on our wooden table for a roaster full of lasagna. It held the 8 pound pan without an issue. The coolest thing I have done with this trivae so far has been making a large pizza and using it as an elevated server. My Williams-Sonoma Pizza pan is 18 inches across and takes up a lot of space on the dining table. I set up the Trivae in it's elevated form and put the pizza pan on top of it. It was a perfect solution to serving a large pizza at the table and still leaving enough room for salad plates, drinks and place settings for everyone. This is a true space saver and kitchen multi-tasker. Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year. I call it the Superbowl of Food. This trivae will make the day even more epic. It will be by my side all 7 prep days as well as the main event and dinner. It can hold utensils, lids, be used as a multi-level platform for keeping dishes warm as well as holding a platter of turkey. Some people fear Thanksgiving, I say bring it on! This trivae is expensive for what it is. But, I guarantee that you will use it on a daily basis. You will find tasks that it will be able to assist you with. I have always been told that you calculate the value of a product by how much it costs and how many times you use it. If that's the case, it will be the most valuable product you purchase this year.

Sleek, stable, and easy to use
Love the sleek design. Very stable. Wish it were taller so that I could put something larger on the bottom placement.

Very Useful, Unique & Attractive
These do exactly what they are advertised to do, and they do it well. Ever had trouble finding somewhere to put down a steaming hot pot lid, dripping sauce and condensation? These are the answer - just flip the lid upside-down and place it in the Trivae's horseshoe-shaped bar. They also work as a multiple-size trivet, and take up very little counter space. They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it - and they look really cool, too.

Clean lines, New idea that is Indispensable!
Stumbled across this, and so glad I did. I’ve fussed with many lids while cooking, and never found the right place. If they went onto my spoon rest, could not use the spoon rest for spoons. If placed on a trivet, same thing. Just use the two buttons to hoist the pan lid to desired height, and if all the way down, it is a trivet! Extremely well made and not gimmicky. Cost is high but so is the quality-if you are willing to pay more for something that won’t break down, then you should purchase this item, It also seems to be made from a small company, so if you’re into supporting new/small businesses, go for it!

Very Disappointed!
I love kitchen gadgetry, accessories, tools and anything else kitchen! Which is why I was excited to receive this great invention. Once I received and opened it, I was immediately disappointed! It was very light weight. Since, I was expecting cast iron as stated in its description, I was hoping that it would be heavy duty. The look and feel is definitely not cast iron. I have many cast iron kitchen products so I know that this is not cast iron material. Cast iron is heavy-duty and this is not. Although, the "backbone" or "spine" may be of a light metal material, the horseshoe part is definitely plastic!! On a positive note, it does function as described and definitely sturdy. However, I don't know how long it would last since it is made of plastic and light metal. For $60, not a good buy! OVERPRICED! I am returning it but I would have kept it if it was $29! I give it 3 Stars for the genius invention itself!

Love love love
Such a useful piece. It served its purpose as described. My husband & I weren’t sure it was necessary but tried it and we find it SO helpful. It holds the lids and hot baking sheets perfectly and we’ve used it as a serving piece over the holidays! Seriously love this. Will likely invest in another soon

Versatile Lid Holder
When removing a lid from a hot cooking pot, it's always a challenge to find a spot on the counter to put it. Also, because the steam rolls down the sides of the lid, it's a mad dash from the stove to the sink to keep the liquid from dripping on the floor. So I purchased the Trivae holder. I love it! I set up the holder by the stove, remove the lid, quickly flip the lid upside down, place in the holder and the liquid rolls down into the center of the lid. Eazy peazy to manage a hot, steamy lid. I also use the holder as a trivet as shown in the photos. Very versatile.
