Perfect for my house
We have some industrial touches in my house and these fit in perfectly. Looks exactly as advertised. Solid feel to it. Happy with purchase.

Great for the writer
I bought this for myself actually! I don't think I remembered to send a review yet on it though, so I wanted to say that it came just as described. Seems very durable. If you have extra wide mugs, they might hang over, but it's not a big deal really. They're very cute coasters. You can prop them up in the "typewriter" or lay them down flat inside it. Package came quickly! Thank you!

Great item, but arrives broken…
The first set I ordered arrived broken. I returned it and was excited to get a new product. It too, came broken. The product looks fun, but it is not worth your time to keep returning the item…

Love This Set
Loved this set so much that I repurchased after the first set was lost in a move.Decent size. Definitely not small. Works great for catching drips. Nice conversation piece. No moving parts and in case you’re a tinge OCD, the keys are not QWERTY accurate 😉

Just What I Wanted.
This came undamaged unlike some of the other reviews. No problem with shipping, really good for the aesthetic in my home. There are spaces between the numbers and they are slightly raised. Not enough to make glasses slide around though. They are on the smaller side so not all glasses or mugs will fit on them properly but they do the job for my home and look good.I haven't seen how they handle a sweaty glass yet.

One of a Kind Coasters, Lacking Functionality
This coaster set is incredibly stylish and looks awesome on my coffee table, we receive compliments on it all the time. It arrived well packaged and exactly as pictured. As far as functionality goes however, it could be better. The coasters are not particularly large, which in itself wouldn't be such an issue if 1) they weren't so slick and 2) maybe had a lip/edge on them. I have used these with many styles of drink ware: wine glasses, coffee mugs, water bottles, tumblers... They all have sat on the coaster just fine, but even the slightest touch or any kind of movement near them and they slide. Because they aren't super big to begin with, a little slid often means it slips off the edge and depending on how full your glass is, will wind up spilling. Perhaps this wouldn't be a factor for someone without children or pets, but in our home there are a lot things bumping into the tables at any given time! I will be buying another set of coasters more practical for daily use, but I absolutely love the look of this set and think it would make a wonder piece of decor on its own [paperweight, book end...]

Quality coasters that are sure to be a conversation piece
I'm a writer whose hobby is collecting late 1890s-early 1900s typewriters, so when it was time to get a new coaster set I had to have this one. I honestly didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find these are well-made -- sturdy and heavy, with little rubber pads on each corner of the coasters. There also are rubber pads on the replica typewriter base that serves as the holder for the coasters, so there are no worries about scratching whatever surface they're placed on. The only slight negative for me is the cold-cast ceramic isn't absorbent and any cold drink with ice will create condensation that will pool in the coaster. The coasters and base are a loose representation of a Smith Premier No. 1 typewriter, circa 1889 and identifiable by the small twin space bars on either side of the bottom row of the keyboard. Another reviewer commented she wished the keyboard had been arranged in the ubiquitous QWERTY format, and although I agree it would have been a better look than arranging the keys numerically and alphabetically, it should be noted the actual Smith Premier No. 1 (below) did not have a QWERTY keyboard as we know it. That typewriter predated the invention of the shift key and instead has what is called a double-keyboard. Thus there was one key for every letter, both caps and lower case. The bottom line, regardless of your connection to typewriters: This coaster set is a quality item that not only will perform well but also will be a unique conversation piece.

Wouldn’t purchase again
This item is so adorable and was a great gift, however there were several places where it was either broken or chipped. Had to glue some back together. I wouldn’t buy it again, but it is super cute!

Poorly designed - Disastisfied with purchase.
I am disappointed with the quality of this item. It is cheaply made. It did not meet my expectations.
