Alphonse Mucha: 1860-1939: the Artist As Visionary

I fell in love with Mucha's art after going to a museum having a special display of his works and wanted to look at them whenever I had the time. These books are lovely to just have on a shelf and revisit your favorite artist's works whenever you're having an art block :)

There are a lot of pictures of his paintings. They are either page-size or large enough to be easily seen. They are NOT black and white. No thumbnail sketches like you get in some books. The paper surprised me. I kept thinking the pages were stuck together. Nope. The paper is top quality and not thin. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

The photos were very vibrant and colorful.

The book was informative on Mucha but I was expecting the photos to be more vibrant....they seemed really dull..
