Gary Moore Play-Along
This a must for any fan of Gary's work. It's a good career-spaning, handful of tracks. The real prize, above the tablature, is actually the backing tracks. Having the ability to increase and decrease the speed is excellent for learning. Once you have them down, it's an indispensable jam tool. Love this series from Hal Leonard.

Fun for Blues AND rock!
I have about 30 of these play along books, and I generally play blues. This Gary Moore book is FUN to jam along with. Gary Moore was a super talented guy, and played a variety of genres. This book has a little of his blues and a little of his rock side. The songs are pretty technical, but what I usually do is learn the melody to the songs and practice improvising to the rest. If you like to play blues AND rock, this is a great pick! Excellent backing tracks as well as recorded guitar parts. Probably my favorite part about this particular Play Along book is, almost all the songs on here, the main riff or intros are fairly easy to master, leaving me open to improvise the rest of the song while keeping the "feel" of the song intact to the original.**I started a rating system based solely on how technically difficult the songs are to play fully and exactly as transcribed; 10 being extremely difficult. I buy these play along books not usually so much to play exactly along note for note, but if that's what you do then the rating is based on those who would do that: note for note, no improvising.Difficulty: 9 Most songs are pretty technical at some parts. However, fairly "Easy" to learn the melody/intros and go from there improvising.
