My 4 yr old grandson is crazy about trains and these were small enough he could put in his pocket and take with him

These are mostly plastic, not alloy as advertised. The cars are 100% plastic and very lightweight and cheap feeling. The locomotives are a little more substantial and might be a mix of metal and plastic or just a heavier plastic. Unfortunately, I don’t anticipate them lasting long.

Used for a display….perfect

Each car has great detail, but the engines barely move themselves… so they don’t move the line of trains, at all. Plus, they don’t hook together properly. They would be a good decoration as a cake topper, or to sit on a shelf… but other than that, I wouldn’t recommend buying these. Unfortunately I didn’t open them prior to giving them to our grandkids, so we saw how they lost interest with them in under a minute.

The trains are a bit smaller than what we expected. To be honest you could find some at DollarTree that would equate to the same quality! We used them to decorate the cupcake stand for our choo choos and tutus party for the twins🥳!
