Simple to use (doesn't have all the algebra and scientific stuff on it). Good, clear, fairly large display which makes it easy to read. Large buttons, making it easy to type. No battery required. Works and last well. Been using them for years.

Ideal if all you need is a simple and easy to use calculator. Decent size screen with easy to read numbers.

Large display, slim to fit in a pocket and big buttons for a mans big fingers!

I chose this for an exam that stipulated basic function calculators only and given Casio's established reputation in calculator production I knew it wouldn’t fail me.Its small size made it easy to carry around with my other stuff and didn’t swamp my desk, I didn’t need to go any more than 4 decimal places so the max 8 was perfect, despite the size of the calculator, the display area is pretty big.I noticed that the buttons provide a satisfying tappety tap tap as you work away, it’s not loud enough to annoy people next to you and it adds a feeling of productivity and nostalgia I think. The faceplate is metal which was surprising and for that reason makes it look a lot more expensive that it was.It worked well in in the run up to the exam and didn’t let me down. Being Casio (my other calc doesn’t do this) you can shortcut a square answer by doing “times equal” which I found very helpful.I didn’t like the case at first but it’s worn in now changing my opinion and despite only being mated by an adhesive strip, it’s held well.

Just replacing my "very ancient" casio calculator.Good to have a "modern" replacement

I love this little calculator! It is good value for money and easy to use. The numbers are easily seen and buttons good to press so that none get missed. I used this for my book keeping exam and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. The slightly cheaper calculator I bought previously was rubbish compared to this one with buttons not always working. For the sake of an extra pound or two, get this one as it's brilliant!

My old work calculator died these arrived the next day and are so much better calculator than my old 1.
