We use elderberry syrup daily for immune support. As a family who turns towards a natural way of life, this Organic Sambucus has been a life saver. It tastes delicious, almost like a tart berry syrup. My 3 year old loves it, making it easy to take daily without a struggle. The ingredients are all understandable with no hidden ickiness, and the fact that its organic is a huge plus. I buy this twice a month, and will continue to do so. It is absolutely the best elderberry out there!

I had heard about elderberry' benefits and wanted to give it a try. I have 2 small children that are in daycare and wanted to find something that would help fight off the sickness that goes around (flu, strep, etc). I also wanted to take it preventatively. Fingers crossed, but so far we have managed to avoid the flu outbreak at daycare and I think this had a hand in that! It also tastes good! I would compare it's taste to grape jelly in syrup form. Highly recommend and will definitely be buying again!

This stuff tastes like heaven and really does help keep the colds away in the winter. We buy it every time it gets cold and everyone takes a dose a day...we rarely get sick.There are chemicals in both the flowers and berries of this plant that are supposed to help reduce swelling in mucous membranes like sinuses and help relieve nasal congestion. The berries are also a good source of Vitamin A, C, B6 and have a lot of fiber.Studies show that these berries have the same abilities as blackberries and black raspberries to seek out and kill free radicals in the body. Can't beat that!

I have been using this for both myself and my toddler for quite a while. I'd love to make my own elderberry syrup but it's time consuming and I never seem to get around to it. I like that this is organic and that it doesn't have a ton of additives (some of their formulations also add in echinacea, for example). I work in a school and my son goes to day care and I really feel this has helped us ward off some of the illnesses we are exposed to constantly. It has a great flavor, so my son actually asks for his "vitamins". I knocked off one star because it is very sweet and I don't think that is necessary (or the best, given that it is a health supplement).

My kids have been using this for a couple years now but just started the organic version(woo! I didn't know this existed!). This has a different taste compared to its non-organic version. Anyway, here's the real deal: they still would get runny noses here and there, a short cough here and there BUT it never lasts to where it becomes a fever or worse a flu. (We don't take flu shots either) This is not some magic syrup that when taken will magically defend all viruses. It just keeps them at bay. Viruses are inevitable. You're kids are gonna get them no matter what, especially school aged kids. I truly believe this is the main "supporter" to my kids immune system. I recommend it!

I initially bought this when we are all coming diwn with colds. My cold was stopped in its tracks and better in 2 days. I did do some more research on other uses for elderberry and read on multiple reliable sources that it helps relax muscles and reduces inflammation. I have to say my back and headaches are much less as is the tightness in my neck and shoulders that caused the pain. It tastes, to me, like slightly concentrated grape juice. Sweet with a little bitter/sour, but not bad. The 4 oz bottle contains 12 , 2 tsp doses. So only 3-5 days if taken as directed. Not meant to be taken long term, but neither are most medications. ( I am not a doctor or pharmacist. I am not giving medical advice, please consult your physician before use as stated on the bottle or for other uses.) I will be ordering more for sure and ordering a larger bottle.

The product literally burst in my face on opening it. Extremely dangerous

I was recommended this product by a known dietician and I have been using this for a few months now and I see the difference. Would highly recommend.
