The World of James Joyce

This puzzle is a wonderful introduction to the world of James Joyce and to 'Ulysses' in particular. The accompanying poster is a great addition, the account of life and novel, lucid and informative without being in the least patronising. The representation of Joyce's Dublin and the world of his great novel, shows great imaginative flair on the part of the artist Michael Kirkham. His feel for the minutiae of everyday life, his presentation of key characters from 'Ulysses', and the touches of the comic and grotesque all add up to an enchanting picture. A warning: although the pieces fit together well enough, they do require light handling; they do not hold together with the conviction of a Ravensburger puzzle. However, the positive features far outweigh this source of mild irritation.

love these jigsaws

This is better than a lot of jigsaws with good quality, precision cut pieces. The jigsaw is a lot more complex once you start but is a good challenge.

Having spent the first 18 years of my life in Dublin I loved every moment completing it and was somewhat sad when I finished. It brought back many memories. If you have a connection with this wonderful city, or know somebody who has, then buy it.
