I had one just like these and liked it so much that I bought 2 more. They are light and strong. I accidentlly cut all but the last joint of my fingers off on my right hand a couple of years ago. The light weight of these cups make it a lot easier to hold with my right hand. I hate plastic cups.

What a difference the use of fine materials make to an innocuous product like a coffee cup. Many mugs available, for a few bucks, are heavy as hell, even when empty. This cup is lightweight bone china, the sides ring like a bell, which is a great indication of its quality. String a cup of whatever, is in itself a little musical pleasure. It does not stain with coffee, or dark fruit drinks and teas, and washes easily with just a rinse. It works well in the microwave, although because of its light molecular structure, sometimes requires a little more time (or energy) to reach the desired temperature. All in all, despite my hesitation because of the higher price, I find myself patting myself on the back for my good judgement. Eloy Omar

This great bone china cup will not alter the taste of your drink in any way. The cup is light-weight and easy to hold. Easy to clean, too. If I had to come up with a negative, I'd go with the fact they didn't just make it hold 16 ounces versus 15 ounces. But since this cup is truly great if you don't want the taste of what you drink altered, it's not a big deal.Buy this cup for drinking water, milk, coffee, tea, and anything else. You won't be sorry.

Replaced an almost identical cups. They are perfect for their purpose.

This was for my husband and not as a gift so it serves its purpose. It has a nice hand feel, no defects. But it isn’t gift quality as there are no markings at all denoting anything not even “bone china”.

It's a nice bone China mug. Lightweight and translucent.

Arrived well packaged but with a hairline crack and it leaked all over my counter. Glad it didn't disintergrate while holding it - that would've sucked. Very expensive for something so shoddy. I went and found something simar from CB2 for more than 1/2 the price.

Coffee really tastes different in a bone cup - less bitter. It stains like any coffee cup but it washes out easily enough. I recommend using Dawn powerwash - you barely have to scrub using it and the stains disappear completely.
