They certainly keep you dry & warmer so really what more can you ask for? The whistle is an added bonus for a real emergency especially if you're genuinely missing/lost as it'll draw attention your way & it's a first for me as I've never had one with a whistle attached before & the price tag here is very respectable for what you get.Fast delivery with this too, I ordered say 7-8pm & it was here around 3pm the next day, "It's All Good" as they say.

Haven't used it yet but seems strong enough. compact enough to keep in the glove box of the car. Always on hand if I need it.

Hopefully will not have to use this. It’s small and light enough to drop into a day sack without having to take anything else out. Fits into the bottom of hydration pack so again have one while out mountain biking as well.

Despite looking up how much it weighed and having seen the photograph, I was still surprised how small and light it is! I've tried it and hope I never will, but I did get it out of the bag and the material seems tough enough. A big improvement over the traditional orange plastic bag that I've been carrying around or decades.

Although I've not used this bag in earnest, when it arrived I unpacked it as I was amazed (concerned?) at how small and light-weight it was. I put my arm into the opening, and immediately felt it begin to warm up. The silvered inner layer is very effective at retaining heat by reflecting radiant heat energy back into the bag.I have two mountain rucksacks, and being so impressed by this bag I immediately bought a second so that I can keep one survival bag in each rucksack.

Very light weight and small not used so can’t say how good will respond once used take with me next camping trip but hopefully be better than the other make I tried 😞

This really is a small item when packed up and would easily fit in the top pocket of a rucksack or if you have a spare side compartment as well. Although it might seem overkill, if you do get injured, stuck or lost in adverse weather; having something like this to get inside and keep dry would be invaluable. Even just to use as a layer if you got stuck it would make a huge difference. I will make sure this is always with when out hiking now and be part of my rucksack in the same way a small first aid kit is.
