Just ordered another two sets can’t believe how fabulous they look and such value I wasn’t sure whether to order photos don’t do it justice So pleased beautiful soft glow but lights thd kitchen up definitely recommend

These are good quality lights. Spread out on white table cloths at our party they looked great. They are very bright. The wire is fine and inconspicuous. Care must be taken to avoid tangling.

Contents of packaging: This gives you two sets of the purple fairy lights Each set is coiled neatly into little oblong bundles which have the end of the wire wrapped around to keep them together. They are compact as the wire is so thin and the bulbs are very small. The power backs that charge them and have the switch are attached to them is what takes up most of the room in the packaging. Build: These fairy lights are small a little LEDs embedded in a single naked wire. By that I mean there’re is a thin silver wire, and at even intervals upon it, the light bulb is sort of embedded into that rather than sticking out like traditional ones. Despite being very small, the bulbs are bright. Light: The light they give off is bright, and actually is purple. At first I wasn’t sure if they were bright white or blue-sh (to give you an idea of the kind of purple), but in photos taken in the same room while they have been switched on, there is a clearly purple hue to the lighting. Others that have entered the room immediately recognise them as purple. They are impressively bright and pigmented and really give a nice vibe to the space. Battery life: I have them continuously switched on, and the batteries last for several days to a week of continuous use, depending on the batteries. The fairy lights require 3 AA batteries to power them. Quality/issues: The actual battery housing broke on both sets upon changing the batteries for the second time in one case, and the first in the other. The batter housing holds 3 AA batteries. There is a little plate of metal which has a spring attached on one side of it and is flat next to that, so that 2 batteries, both pointing in opposite directions, make contact with it. This fell out of both battery housing with informal use, at which point you cannot use the fairy lights. One set lasted one batter change without this happening, but the next time, this part had moved so adding new batteries did not make the lights turn back on. Prior to this they had to be taped carefully to hold them in a position that made the lights switch on. In the second set, positioned somewhere else, the plate fell out on the first battery change. It was easy to slot back in for both sets, and they now work again, but the part is very small and easy to lose. SUMMARY I really love these lights, but was disappointed that they both broke in the same way through just reasonable use. Because I really wanted purple fairy lights and am in a hospital room with no free plug sockets due to all the machines connected to me, I did resort to buying another set in case I am unable to fix them next time. It took a day and 2 people to fix one set and I really wanted the light. It was a fixable flaw but just one to be aware of, and something I don’t expect from a brand new purchase. Other than that, really pleased with them

I needed a string of lights to border a window, these were perfect. Carefully untangled them and found a strong but very fine paired wire with ultra bright leds at intervals. I simply stuck the wire to the window frame with tape and found the wire and the leds virtually invisible until lit and then, wow, they are bright Three AA batteries are needed for the control box which has a slide switch -off | flashing | always on. The box is clearly not waterproof but I think the wires/leds may be. One set of (cheap) batteries was still powering it after approx. six hours use across ten days. For £5 its a bargain

Was not expecting much for the price. However they are better quality and endurance is really good. The pictures are the lights after a few days of just cheap batteries keeping them on 24/7. I have another set of lights plug ins and these just helped fill in the gaps the others couldn’t. Would recommend buying 2 not 1 and even then i only put mine inside the star and all the way down t the front. Not back and sides no point for me, more for the front of the tree. No remote control but can change between still and flashy lights and the wire is thin but not easily breakable. Thank you Merry Christmas. G

nice and bright when they were working. I wanted lights for my wreath and it says indoors and outdoors but the case for the batteries is not suitable for outdoors. So they stopped working even though I placed the pack into a plastic bag to stop water getting in. sadly they didn't last now have to buy more lights. But great for in doors I suppose!

Lights work fine. Everything else sucks. The box was completely destroyed (sharp pieces of plastic in the bag).

Terrible product. We turned it on for 30 minutes and noticed a burning smell, urgently removed it from the Christmas tree, and upon inspecting the string lights discovered that one of the bulbs and the cord were burned. How can you sell a product like this?! This could lead to a fire!
