Original Flavor Macaroni and Cheese Meal (7.25 oz Boxes, Pack of 5)

I have consumed so much of this stuff over the course of my life! A disturbing amount even. Saying anything bad about this product is the second most common reason for deportation in the United States, so I won't. "Cheesy" is a loose term used here to denote something orange colored and salty and not to be confused with cheese. I do not see why this was such an exciting thing to be served when I was a mere boy of 5-28. I still eat this on occasion as a comfort food and try to forget about the ingredient list on the side of the box and that most of the milk protein bits come from China, a country known for strict food regulations. But still I eat this fabulous goo, so ingrained it is from my childhood.

Excellent presentation and value for me. Kraft is my 'go to' for macaroni and cheese (if I don't make it myself!). The flavor is smooth and the texture is outstanding. The cheese flavor is strong so much superior to other macs and cheese that are available on the market. Stocking my cabin for the winter so started ordering from Prime Pantry. Delivered to my door and it doesn't get any better than that for me as I live 40 minutes one way from a store. Will definitely order this again and so pleased to find this in Prime Pantry. A very happy camper in Vermont. Most highly recommended.

My wife ordered 2 cases of Kraft Mac & Cheese. When they arrived I took both cases for a special need I had. One wrapped case was used to raise my computer monitor so it sits at the correct eye level for my desk. The size of the case was perfect, both for the vertical height I needed and for the horizontal base of the monitor stand. The cardboard wrapped in the cellophane provides adequate strength to hold the monitor with complete stability. The second case I broke open and used 2 boxes underneath my laptop PC to raise it up to match the height of the monitor. The boxes of Mac & Cheese are just the right height and the cardboard is strong enough to support my weighty laptop. The spacing of the Mac & Cheese boxes also allows for improved cooling airflow under the computer. All-in-all, a perfect fit. So far my wife hasn't noticed her mac & cheese is missing from the pantry. Someday I will have to surrender my new monitor and computer supports so that we do not starve, but for now they are serving a much higher purpose. Thank you Kraft for making your Mac & Cheese just right.

Kraft Original Flavor Macaroni and Cheese Meal (7.25 oz Boxes, Pack of 5), Price: $4.50 is perfect for package for the price. It is in my cupboard all the time and my go-to when I want a quick, filling meal. I can eat it just plain, or throw in veggies, spices, meat, fish or a combination of whatever I'm in the mood for or have on hand. I have tried other brands and while some are good, they are either higher in cost or have less quality ingredients. My only complaint is that this 5 box package deal from Kraft isn't offered in the "Subscribe & Save" options. I would like to be able to have this included in my monthly grocery order.

No, Kraft. This is not the taste I love. I love the artificial colors that nearly glow in the dark, the artificial flavors that I've identified with as cheese since I was a toddler, and the preservatives that make it shelf stable until the dinosaurs return to reign over the earth and I can share it with them. But no, you kowtowed to pressure to remove everything that gave it that classic, amazing powdered cheese taste (see also: Doritos) in favor of healthiness. Nobody is buying this product for health reasons, nobody. They're buying it because either they want a cheap meal that's a vibrant orange, or because it's all their toddler will eat. Me? Vibrant orange for the win. Is it awful now that it's changed? No, but it's not the same, so one star less for that. Is it still an unnaturally orange, economical almost-meal? Yeah, it passes, but I'm a grouch about things changing when they were ok to begin with.

I admit it. I love Kraft orange Mac and cheese. All the trendy food stuff with gluten free, no carbs, organic whatnot etc etc I simply do not care. When I have a cold, the flu or just a rough day I want comfort food that doesn't require fancy ingredients or any actual effort to prepare. That is what Kraft Mac & cheese is - straight up, creamy, tasty, easy to make and inexpensive comfort food. You can dress it up if you want with tomato sauce or meat or extra real cheese or even cheese and tuna for a lazy bachelor's type of tuna noodle casserole if you're so inclined.

I'm sure there are some out there who don't like the Kraft Blue Box, but I have never met them. Sure, homemade from scratch mac & cheese is one of the best comfort foods I know of. But this cheesy version has its own place at our dinner table. It is not so much comfort food as it is a simple side dish we have every once in awhile that everyone loves. It is quick and easy to prepare, and it is really hard to mess it up. When I am on my own for dinner, I've been known to toss in some chopped onion & frozen peas when I pour in the macaroni, then when it is done, stir in a can of tuna for an "instant casserole"

When you're hungry and don't know what to make whip one of these up. They are great as a stand alone snack or as a side dish. Despite what the box may say, one box is good as a side for 3 people. More than 3 and you are better off using two boxes. Also, make sure you cook the noodles, pour the noodles out and let drain, put butter, milk, cheese mix into the still warm pan and stir (no additional heat required, the heat from the pan is enough). Once its all mixed together and the butter is melted THEN add the noodles and mix it all up. If you want it a little healthier I add half milk / half water and 3/4 of the cheese mix.
