It does the job, but is noisier then I'd prefer
I have 3 other germ guardian tower air purifiers throughout my home. I scored a deal on this one and figured, what the hell, give it a shot. Heres what I like:- ITS FANCY! it has a remote control AND u can you can connect it to your smart home. So now I can turn it on and off with my voice.- The indicator light on the front lets you know how your clean your air is (or isn't). Green = Good, Orange = needs work, Red = We got a problem! Im not a HVAC engineer so I cant promise thats its 100% accurate but whenever I spark up a doobie in the house the light turns yellow, and if I smoke in my room it turns red. It would have been nice if it would automatically adjust the fan speed if the air is particularly dirty but for the price I paid, I wont complain..- It puts out a nice flow of air. Usually air purifiers dont work well as a fan to help cool you down but this one really does move some air.The one and only thing that I am not a fan of, is that the fan hums and its very noticeable on Medium and High. Much moreso than my germ guardians. I have ADD so things like white noise dont bother me, but this unit was grinding my nerves. I actually had Amazon exchange it for a new unit and, while it still hums, its a few decibels quieter. Ive pretty much gotten used to it by now. Some folks might not even notice it so if you're curious I'd say try it out and if it doesn't irritate you then you got yourself a winner... if you're like me with the hearing of a butterfly and the attention of a squirrel then it might aggrivate you. Id still say its worth a shot. Especially since Prime makes it easy to return or exchange it. Ive had my new one for about 3 months now and I'm still pretty satisfied.

Great price, simple features and Alexa compatible
I purchased this soley on price and Alexa compatible. My only gripe right now is where to find the filters! They are sold out everywhere and Amazon's original link is returning the "oops something went wrong".

Wifi disconnects within a week [re-rated]
EDIT: moved from 3 stars to 5 stars:I was contacted by someone at Famree and after speaking with them, they thought I might have a faulty unit and shipped me a new one. It's been about 2 weeks since I had the new one and the wifi hasn't disconnected yet.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I got this air purifier over cheaper ones because this is supposed to be "smart." However, the wifi seems to disconnect within a week every single time. I can't connect to it via Alexa or the Smart Life app on my phone every 4 to 7 days. The touch buttons on the unit itself works and the remote works though. The only way to reconnect to wifi is to unplug the air purifier and plug it back it. I have to do this every 4 to 7 days, which is annoying, especially when the plug is not easy to access.I checked the app and it says "no update available."I'm debating whether I want to keep this or just get a cheaper one and plug it into a smart outlet.Of note is that "sleep" mode is pretty much just the low speed setting with the front light off. If you turn off sleep mode, it goes back to the previous speed and turns the front light on again. If you were on the low speed setting it'll just stay on the low setting and turn the front light on. It would have been better if they just had a "turn front light off" button. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the front light when it's in medium or high speed mode. Also, it doesn't seem Alexa can set the timer to make the unit turn off after X number of hours. You have to use the touch buttons on the unit itself or the remote to set the timer. I was hoping to set the timer on my "good night" routine, but there's no option in the Alexa app.

Faulty first product, great customer service!
I ordered this product in December during the black friday sale and the air purifier worked great for about a month until it began making noise at the lowest speed and sleep setting. I usually kept it on the medium setting where it didn't make noise so this wasn't a big deal. Recently the air purifier began making a squeaky noise and rattling noise at the medium speed as well making it very distracting to have on.** Update **I reached out to customer service last week (4 months after buying it) and they immediately offered to send me a new product! No Hassel, no videos needed to be sent, just "hey there is a problem" "okay we will send you a new one!" Best customer service I have experienced!

Very quiet machine.
I wish it were a HEPA approved purifier but, it still gets the job done. My home no longer has that stuffy smell. I have noticed less dust accumulating in the apartment and less mold. I dont know if this machine is doing all of that but, the only thing that changed was the addition of the purifier. So, I can only assume that my purifier is getting the job done.

Louder than I thought, and not sure how well it works.
I was so excited to get home and finally get this plugged in and started. At first I was surprised the light was green right away .. the noise is louder than I'd thought it would be but I was still excited! Except now I don't keep it on while my daughter sleeps, she doesn't like the sound, so that was disappointing and I'm still unsure if it actually works correctly.. I've only ever seen the light green and we have 4 pups , out daughter and ourselves.. I dont dust as much as I should.. so I'm not sure. It's been on for about a month now .. and I'm not sure if I can say there's been a difference. My daughter has allergies so bad and just down right has bad lungs sadly.. so my doctor recommended getting these and I dont know yet. I only got one to see at first and as it stands I'm not sure I'll get another.. or maybe I'll try a different brand.
