SGF-DSA21 Replacement water filter for Samsung DA29-00012A,DA29-00012B, DA61-00159A,DA29-0003B,EFF-6006A-8 by Swift Green Filters (2pack)

The item performed as expected however there was initial installation problems. I dont know if its due to a difference in construction. The new filters look like the old filters but i had to fiddle with the new filter a half a dozen times before it finally caught and the water started flowing normally. Overall seems to be doing its job.

I ordered the exact filter according to the model number of the one that was currently in my refrigerators do from the same manufacturer. The new ones arrived but will not work in my refrigerator. We compared the current one to the new ones and discovered that the new ones are shorter than the current one.

I purchased a 3 pack some time ago, and have had to place a tray under the filter in the fridge to empty EVERY FEW DAYS due to leak. Also, it doesn't say if it filters fluoride, or chloramine..??? Too bad, as the ones Samsung has are $40 a piece. They do last longer, yet that too I have not read anywhere if it filters fluoride.My fridge is the 4 door Samsung Quatro.

First filter cracked the nib on install so created a leak in the fridge. Second had grey water come from it with a horribly taste. Had to return.
