I was kind of on the fence about this cape poncho thing, but it's really nice. It came in a box with ribbon, presented in a way that would make a great gift. The cloth is so soft, like a lightweight plush blanket, and I like the bright sherpa trim and hood.The hood is not enormous, so you won't be pushing it out of your eyes. It has a two button closure like a cape, but it's easy to just pull on over your head, and there are little areas for your hands that can be unsnapped if you prefer.Unlike some other products that serve the same purpose, this actually looks more like an article of clothing, esp. the leopard print or darker colors, so you could wear it to push your cat around the block in his stroller (or baby, I'm not picky).If you live in a colder climate or an older home without great insulation, you will be noticeably cozier. I didn't realize how chilly my home actually is until I took it off.

I find this extremely soft and snuggly. It’s not super thick, but it still keeps me cozy and warm - so for me the thickness works.I love the hood, and the fact it has pockets is a plus. And the buttons to make “sleeves” are great.

Super cozy. I wear it and launder it so much I'm afraid I'll eventually wear it out. Buying another just in case. I love the warmth of a soft full-size robe, but sometimes long sleeves with rolled cuffs are just too bulky. This warm, lightweight wrap lets you use your hands without any sleeves to get in the way, then you can tuck your arms inside or in the pockets for extra warmth. No zippers or belts to fuss with. Just two big button-and-loops. At first I thought the hood was silly, but I've actually used it a few times on cold evenings. On top of all that, it actually looks pretty cute too.
