Additional Module for Netatmo Weather Station

I love the whole Netatmo system. I have the starter kit along with two additional modules (they are all the same so this review applies to the additional indoor module as well as the set overall).I bought an old fire station that is being drastically renovated and so these modules are fantastic because I've placed them in key areas (crawl space, the garage,... etc) to make sure that no area gets below freezing during this cold winter. I love the alerts because I set several sensor alerts so I can find out if any specific area gets too humid or too cold... etc).The modules have also been great for monitoring which areas of the house are more drafty than others.Some reviewers have been skeptical about the accuracy of the CO2 concentrations or humidity but after putting all three modules adjacent to one another for several days (for a personal comparison) I found that they were all spot on to one another which was quite reassuring.I only wish that the outdoor module (not the specific item in this review) was actually water proof (it's water resistant and cannot be placed directly exposed to open sky (it's under an awning).Highly Recommended!

I have been using Netatmo additional modules for almost 2 years now. Everything Netatmo just works for me and the value is the 100% reliability, great software for both a web browser and for me as an Android app (I don't have an Apple phone). I have contacted support for a problem I had on my old ISP and they quickly resolved the problem but on my new ISP with a new router I didn't have to do anything everything just magically works.The connectivity with IFTTT and SmartThings is really useful and in fact I couple this with a Belkim WeMo to control a heater in my sons bedroom to keep his bedroom in a 1 degree temperature range (saves power too)!There is nothing I can say that I don't like about Netatmo devices, maybe price may be an issue, you can find cheaper ways to do this, but the software is so important that more expensive hardware is totally worth it for me.

I installed the original indoor station and outdoor module without a problem. They work great! So, I purchased the Additional Module (AM) to install in my bedroom area. It installed easy and supplies a temperature reading as advertised. Unfortunately, the CO2 reading has remained at "0" ppm since installation while the living room module shows varying readings throughout the day. Does it take a period of time to calibrate? Do I have to do it manually? Should it not work out of the box?I have not been able to get an answer from Netatmo support so I'll have to assume I received a bad unit and they don't care. Back to Amazon it goes! If this feature worked as advertised, I would have given the AM a much higher rating. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

Excellent indoor/outdoor weather system. Two modules. Attractive and well-designed. Set-up went smoothly. Reports temperature, humidity, barometer as you would expect. Also CO2 and noise level on the indoor module.All the data goes over WiFi to the cloud. Read out on your computer or smart phone.We use this to monitor our home when away. This product space is changing rapidly, and I don't know the whole range of offerings, but for me, this is an excellent product.

This extra sensor works well. I used it connected with IFTTT to trigger WEMO switches to turn on window air conditioners. I am in a very old house with baseboard heating, no vents and getting central air is almost impossible with a garage in the basement. Anways product works well does not give you decibel levels but gives temp and CO2 levels. I only gave it a 4 and not 5 because the set up was a bit wonkey it took too much screwing around to finally get it to be recognized and connect. There was no rhyme or reason why it was not working just suddenly did with no change to the process I was using. Other than the initial pairing to the app/main base station the product has been working great.

Setting up Netatmo is a little confusing, Instructions very lacking. But, once it’s up, it’s a very good system, so far foolproof. I found that the mounts that came with the system work very well. Adding modules, like this indoor sensor, is a snap.As I said, a very good system. I like the system so much I bought an additional module for my bedroom. I’m very happy with the entire system.

I like gadgets and being able to not only monitor indoor/outdoor temps but also air quality, humidity, noise levels, etc. from my Windows Phone and computer is neat. I've already picked up an extra monitoring station for the upstairs.Set-up was easy but the positioning of the outdoor unit can be a little tricky. I would have liked to have seen the outdoor unit be waterproof. Luckily I have a covered front door step and mounted it underneath that roof where the rain can't get to it.Not sure I'll pick up the rain gauge but a wind gauge would be nice to have. Plus there's the remote camera units due out later this year that will connect to the network that will be nice to have.
