Defean Replacement Arctis 7/9X/Pro Headband (Color C) - Fabric & Foam - Compatible with SteelSeries Arctis 7/9X/Pro Gaming Headsets

It's a fair replacement for the official ones, none of these seem to last very long to be honest before the stretch goes out of them, but at least with these you're not paying full steel series prices. It might just be that I have a big head. And spend far too much time wearing my headphones and ignoring everything/everyone else in my home/town/county. You get the idea.

Bought a second hand headset and wanted to replace the headband and decided to get this to change it up a little over the standard black. Straight swap over standard and gives it that little bit more style to the headset

No issues with compatibility or installation. It certainly looks a lot nicer than the authentic straps. Unfortunately though the strap stretches continuously and at a far greater rate than authentic straps. Within the first month it was already stretched past the velcro. By 9 months, it's about 4 inches past the velcro and no longer stays down. If you are happy to but something which looks better, but lasts about a quarter of the time for 33% less money - then it'll do. If you want the lifespan of a steelseries headband (which is still only a max of 2 years due to poor design) then spend the extra couple of quid and buy the proper product.

These are too small to comfortably fit on an arctis 7, causing the ear pads to pull up on quite a bit on my ears making them uncomfortable to use. The original was never this tight to my head/ears. If you have a smaller head this may be fine but it's smaller than the original. Velcro is pretty strong.

The headband is identical to the one you would normally receive when first buying the headsets. I highly recommend replacing this headband every year as it just adds so much more comfort whilst wearing and is cheap enough to replace constantly.

It fits well on my artics pro. Might order a second one for spare. Don't know how long these will be on the market since there is a new pro headset.
