Kids love Raffi! The variety of songs and sounds is clever. The arrangements are terrific and varied by the theme of the song. Raffi plays a kazoo on one song. On another we hear a flute or a French horn. On another we hear a jug. The duets with kids are terrific. It's funny, singable, thoughtful, and perfect for the very young. I love, love, love, love Raffi!! I remember singing along with him during car rides when I was a kid. I am at the age where many of my friends are starting to have kids, and to my horror a lot of them have not even heard of Raffi...so I am on a mission to get them this CD because it is a great compilation of his songs. Raffi is great!! This CD is great!! I recommend it with all my heart (and I both have personal reasons for liking it, but I am also an occupational therapist working in pediatrics so I am with children a lot of time).

The whole cd is just amazing if you want fun kids music. My little ones never really took to disney so this was an amazing find. I would usually just play his live music off of YouTube so im super happy we found his cd’s :)

Who doesn't love Raffi? My kids grew up listening to Raffi and Red Grammar! Now that I have grandchildren I purchased this CD for them to listen to when they are in my car. It's really difficult to find really good children's music. So often all I can find is Kidbop or Kidpop? Who wants their children or grandchildren to be singing those songs when they are toddlers or in elementary school?! My daughter would have a fit if I let the kids listen to that stuff!! So Raffi it is!! Funny that I still remembered all the songs even though it's been a good 25 years since I've heard them. My granddaughter is nearly three and loves to sing and dance along. I've found that some kids music is really fast and a little difficult for toddlers to understand all the words - with Raffi the songs were really easy for her to learn and keep up with. My grandson is not quite six months and he loves the music also. It helps him to stay happy in the car, especially on long trips. I loved that I could download the songs onto my computer... we can listen to the songs at home and not worry about having to remember to take the CD to the car and back.

Classic album, one of the greats. My wife requested this CD from several family members for my son's first birthday and not one of them delivered. So here I am buying outdated media like a schmuck. But I love the kid to pieces and Raffi's not half bad. Plus I don't know how to pirate music.

My grandson Trevor age 2.4, has several songs by this artist. I try to make travelling in the car enjoyable for all of us. We have quite a collection of CD's and I rotate them occasionally. We travel in a group....his babysitter, myself, mommie (when she is not working), so its nice if we all enjoy the CDs. Well this would be high on our list of favorites. Itsy bitsy spider makes Trevor laugh, so of course we all laugh together. He is picturing this spider, from the floor, crawling up his legs, tummy, arms, etc. Its a silly, lovely song. Now a big favorite is old macDonald had a BAND....which instead of animals we hear musical intruments. Trevor listens intently to this one and usually have to repeat it over several times. Overall it is a CD that I would recommend.

Pros: Cute songs, easy for you to memorize so you can sing them to your children. Favorites in our house: Down By the Bay, Mr. Sun, The More We Get Together, and Bumping Up and Down. I think this CD would be really great for teachers because there are also songs about Santa and Dreydels on it. Personally though, I don't care to sing about either in June! Cons: A lot of these songs are just plain annoying---Spider on the Floor, Willoughby Wallaby, Robin in the Rain...for adults, these are total nightmares if they get stuck in your head! I don't know if that is avoidable with children's music though. I like They Might Be Giants better, and so do my two-year-olds. They always ask for "Here Come ABCs" and I've never had even one request for Raffi yet.

I have had Raffi music in my home for the last 30 years - my own 5 children have enjoyed his music and I have purchased Raffi CD's for all of my grandchildren as well. Raffi's simple yet interesting melodies and warm voice are like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day - comforting and delicious! Listening it to transports me to a time when my children were playing together and in the background was Raffi music and all was well in the world. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is the very best album for young children (and parents) of songs to sing in the car.

Finalement j'ai déjà toutes ces chansons sur un autre support. Je pensais que c'était un nouveau disque de Raffi. Je suis , donc, déçue.

We first heard Raffi in Canada many years ago. Bought this for our grandson (2) who loves them as much as his dad did.

We love this!! We all know the words when we sing in the car!!! "There's a spider on the floor!"

Used to sing these songs to my children, now can do it with grandchildren.
