Very good flavor- one simple ingredient !
I don't always write reviews for products that are good and have many good reviews because I don't always have anything more or different to say... But, I did for this product. Yes it IS very good! I have been trying different powdered peanut butter/flours over the last few years and so far prefer this one and I have reordered several times. Why this brand? Mostly because of the flavor being a little better than some others and I like the vacuum packaging. I have gotten peanut pwd./flour in VERY LARGE plastic containers and even though the pwd. is loose and fluffy it's awkward to handle and dispense even with the little included scoop it's a bit clumsy. ( I do have some pain issues with my hands). I got some that came in smaller jars but didn't care for the flavor and didn't want any added ingrd. . I do like peanuts & peanut butter but wanted a lower fat alternative to add protein to my diet but not as much calories and fat. The powdered peanut flour sounded like a good option. So far I like using it many different ways; adding water to make " lite" peanut butter, adding it to protein shakes, yogurt, oatmeal and baking with it. I do have to add sea salt to it for my taste. I love salt but want to be able to add it, or not, myself. Protein Plus Roasted Peanut pwd. is the best tasting of the 4-5 different brands I've tried. AND it is just " peanuts", that's it, Nothing else.If you decide to try it - When the vacuum sealed bag arrives make sure you cut it open below the lines you can see pressed into the package to seal it. If you cut it down far enough it will open up to a full square opening, if it's still attached at the side folds, cut it down a little lower until it opens completely. This will make it much easier to use it from the package. If you leave the side folds connected at the top it will be messy and drive you nuts. I didn't do that one time because I was in a hurry and continued to wipe peanut pwd. sprinkles off my counter top until I took 20 sec. to trim a 1/4 " more off the top of the bag. Now I make sure to do it right the first time. Such a small thing can make things so much easier. The powder is compressed and does come out in clumps at first but breaks-up easily and mixes in smoothly with little effort. As with most flours, peanut flour will dry out a little unless tightly sealed. Hint* If you have dry winter air/ dry air-conditioned air or if you choose to store in fridge you MAY need to add a little more liquid in some baking recipes when substituting peanut pwd. for reg.flour.( ie: breads, cakes, muffins, cookies). This brand is worth trying for both the good flavor and adding a simple, natural protein supplement to your diet

Amazing product at an unbeatable price!
I love this stuff and buy it regularly!! For a peanut butter addict, this offers a lower calorie alternative to add a peanut flavor to many dishes. With that said, this is not peanut butter, nor will adding water/milk/anything make it taste like real peanut butter. It will taste good, but not like real peanut butter. It's essentially the exact same as PB2 or any of those brand name powders but at a fraction of the cost.Peanut flour is awesome to mix on it's own, use in baking, or to add in foods normally calling for peanut flavor: anything from asian to sweets. I've used it in all of those scenarios and it works beautifully. It's also extremely high in protein and is a nice way to boost the protein content of meals. The bags come vacuum sealed and packed like a brick. Open them into a larger bag and take a few second to knead the chunks loose until you have soft powder. Keep it in your kitchen and add it to everything!

Not a Typical Application
Yeah I didn't eat this peanut flour. I got it because my dog's were AWFUL at drinking their water. I had to take them to the vet pretty often for bladder infections costing me $600 each time for tests and antibiotics. My vet recommended bottled water, then "baiting" their water with food or bone broth. I tried both, and it wasn't enough. They would sniff it, but just end up waiting for the water to evaporate and then lick the goo at the bottom. Yuck! So I wanted to try peanut butter since they LOVE IT. I tried mixing in normal peanut butter into their water, and it wouldn't mix in. It just stayed in a big clump at the bottom or smear on the sides of the bowls. Feeling partially defeated, I still looked for other alternatives, ones without sugar, since that could just dehydrate my dogs more. Then I found this stuff, cue the angelic choirs, and it dissolved so easily in water! It apparently tasted delicious, since the dogs fought over who got to drink first. Now no more bladder infections, and no more gross smelling goo at the bottom of their bowls having to be wash of every day! The little jerks drink plain water now, because I started weaning them off the peanut crack, since that was the ultimate goal. I can't speak for how it does in baking, but I can say my dogs loved it.

There is no added sugar or salt like PB2 or similar products
My first experience with powdered peanut butter was PB2. I discovered this a few years ago and have been buying it ever since then. There is no added sugar or salt like PB2 or similar products. It's just peanut flour, which I think is great. I like to add this to smoothies or even mix it with some almond milk, salt, and stevia and use it as normal peanut butter. I think it tastes great as far as defatted peanut flour goes and it's the cheapest on the market. I haven't tried using it in baking but I bet it would work well too. Definitely recommend for someone who wants that peanut butter taste without all the extra fats and hydrogenated oils. Also, the macros are fantastic........ 16g protein, 8g carbs, 4g fat per serving!

Tastes good, no additives which is great. Be better if they offered organic
This a good option for a peanut butter alternative. You just mix with a little water until you have the right consistency. Does not taste exactly like peanut butter, but good enough for those who want a lower calorie spread. This really shines when you add it to recipes. Although it has no added sugar, it does have a slight sweetness from the natural sugars in the peanuts. I add about 2 tsp to my coffee to make a peanut butter latte and it is excellent. I have found that I only need to use half the amount of sweetener in my coffee when I use this powder, as it adds the rest of the sweetness that I like all on its own. My only wish is that they used organic peanuts. Their only organic competetor has a similar product that i like, but it is double the cost.
