Es Muy Bueno Homes
This big block of steel and sex appeal is a good value compared to the Sentry safes at the hardware and department stores. It also does the same thing and est barato than that expensive Fire King safe. I didn't do my research thoroughly and bought a digital Sentry safe and let me tell you what a terrible purchase that was: The battery would drain down too fast and lock you out until you replaced the battery. Then there was that one incident where my brother didn't know that the safe won't open if the barrel key lock is pushed in. You cannot pull down on the handle after punching in the correct pin #. I was on the road traveling for my work in another state and told him he just needs to press down harder on the handle and pull, because sometimes it sticks. So he put all his gorilla strength into the handle and pushed down so hard that the handle mechanism broke inside. When I got home a couple of weeks later we had to beat down the front door with sledge hammer and pick axe many times before the door gave in and we could get our sh*t. I did some research online later and found a You Tube video that the Sentry brand safe is encased in styrofoam with a thin sheet metal plate surrounding it. This guy online shows a video of him cutting the Sentry safe in half with a diamond tipped circular saw. I know like seriously WTF? I couldn't believe it either!! We threw the Sentry safe out with the trash, but should have taken it to the scrap yard for some $$. Anyways, the Phoenix safe is heavy so you may need help carrying it to your closet. Don't try lifting this beast by yourself, because it weighs as much as your cousin. You may get hernia or mess up your back and have to go to the hospital. The heavy safe is good though amigo, because you don't want to make it easy for thieves to carry out your sh*t. You can also bolt down the safe to your floor for extra security. Everything works great on the Phoenix safe and it's made of real thick steal. The only time it won't open is when the battery is low and you just need to replace the batteries and everything is muy bueno again. The safe has a rotary knob you easily turn to the right to disengage the locking bars and no handle for your gorilla brother to break, LOL. The front door is really hard to beat down, because it has bolts on both sides, so you can't just cut the hinges off or try to pry it open. Shop around online, because I found this model cheaper on different web sites. The Fedex or UPS driver drops the package off at your front door and it's up to you to carry it inside to it's final resting place. The company has a really good warranty for fire and defects that I haven't had to use yet. Es muy bueno ese ; )
