Work safe with these needle nose pliers

I needed pliers that wouldn't be attracted to magets and these plastic pliers fit the bill. For a plastic plier, they're well made. I read other reviews and I almost didn't make the purchase, but these are well made.

These Knipex 98 62 02 non-metallic long nose pliers work well for separating wires in a bundle, lifting and positioning energized wires in control boards and circuit panels. They are non-conductive and made entirely of plastic with a soft rubberized grip area. The pliers are approximately 8-7/8" in overall length, which I feel makes them more useful than the other shorter non-metallic lineman style 98 62 01 pliers that Knipex also makes. I keep these in my tool bucket and use them often, so feel that they were worth the cost.

Trust these with my life

They are as sturdy as they need to be - some complain that they don't align; but mine are fine. They aren't designed for tight gripping, but for safely poking around inside live locations without fear of causing shorts. They meet that requirement perfectly.

Perfecto para lo que está diseñado y previsto. Es totalmente aislado, por lo que puedes estar tranquilo, evitando cualquier corto o descarga indeseable. Lógicamente, no vale para hacer mucha fuerza de tracción ni de pinza, realmente es para llevarlo como complemento y realizar tareas específicas en tensión.

Idéal pour l’électricité !!!

Utilisation régulière dans le cadre de mon travail elle m'est utile. Solide mais un peu trop épaisse dans certains cas. Pas évident à utiliser avec les gants isolés 1000 v. Je recommande.
