Fitment issues
The fitment is a little weird. The oanrs are huge and like 3 sizes to long but the jacket is snug. Not quite sure i understand the sizing. Material ia decent for what it is.

Fits small!
I am 5’6 170 pounds. After reading the sizing chart I determined that a size 3 would have been the best fit for me. Once I had struggled to put the gi top on and the bottom of it was at my groin. In my experience not every Gi is going to fit perfect, either the pants are too long or the top is too big vice versa. Did not fit, great quality material though.

Comfortable, Well Made
Bought these as pajamas to wear around the house. Size 6 was true to size and I would say the chart they offer is accurate. The material is a very heavy cotton-polyester blend that is triple and even quadruple stitched in places like the hems. The color is a deep cyan-turquoise... almost a deep sky blue in color. The pants... yeah. OK, so the waist is correct... could be a little roomier, but nothing to deduct a star over. The length is *way* too long. I just took some heavy duty nylon thread and needle and closed up the opening at the ankle by ~15 cm. This way I don't walk on the excess fabric without shortening the length of the legs. This keeps them roomy and relaxed in fit and feel. If you're going to use these as an actual gi, then plan on having the leg cuffs altered. I can't really take away a star since the chart says I should be taller for my weight... Comes with the jacket and two tie-points, pants with a lackluster shoestring waist tie, and a white-belt that is made of the same heavy duty material and is stitched quite heavily. For the Summer, I'm just wearing a set of lightweight cotton shorts with the jacket and it is very comfortable.

Jacket will shrink a good bit
The jacket shrunk so much I can’t wear it. It does run a bit small compared to the pants anyway. I purchased a size 5 but could have probably used a 6 top and 4 or 5 pants. I’m 5’7” and 180. Pants require hemming for most martial arts uniforms anyway so expect to need that. Mine did. After washing pants fit better so you will have to wash first to really decide. Unfortunately the top has shrunk after about 4 washes to the point I can’t comfortably wear it. It’s tight under the arms and across the front. I will have to replace it already. Doesn’t make sense based of sizing chart. I hate wasting money.

Sizing makes no sense
I am very confused by the sizing...my 10 year old son got the size 1 which according to the size chart should have fit him perfectly. He said the pants were "cutting him in half" LOL (elastic waistband too tight). So I ordered him a size 2 which apparently fits fine. For myself, I am 5' 8" and actually a little more than 185 pounds, but according to the drop down size chart right below where you select the color, that's a size "3". I received my gi today in the mail and the pants actually fit pretty good, but the sleeves on the top stop about two full inches above my wrist! Looking in the comments section I see ANOTHER size chart (as a photo) that says size 3 is "5' 5" and 125 lbs". WHAT??? I am WAY taller than 5' 5" and WAAAYYYY more than 125 lbs! Which one is right? I still think something is wrong if my 5 foot tall 10 year old son who weighs less than 100 pounds is only wearing one size below me and I'm 5' 8" and closer to 200 pounds! I'm thinking I might go ahead and keep this to pass onto my son when he grows into it, and order myself the size 4?

Fits big but great quality!
When I ordered this gi I ordered according to the size chart. The first one I ordered was huge (size 6) - it would have fit my husband better than my 15 year old son (my son is about 5'9", 140 lbs) - but we still needed one so I had to return it and get a smaller size. You may want to consider ordering at least one size smaller as I ended up going down one size (size 5) and, not wanting to return a second one, washed the new one several times in hot water and dried it in a hot dryer only to still have it pretty big. Also make sure you check the return policy as when I ordered this I assumed since I have prime I would get free return shipping but in fact did not. I ended up having to pay return shipping which was almost half the price of the product! The quality of the gi itself is great! As I stated before, it washes great, I didn't have much shrinkage which is normally a great thing. The weight of the gi was perfect for his class, not too thin but heavy enough to stand up to throws and grappling.

Good, sturdy martial arts uniform.
It is a well made gi; I've been using it for Shotokan Karate. The stitching is strong and the fabric is the perfect weight--not heavy like canvas but clearly more sturdy than the lightweight gis. It also launders well and hasn't ripped or torn no matter the abuse I've given it. However, there are a couple of issues that prevent it from being great. First, no matter how many times I was it, it constantly sheds black dye. I've tried color-stay detergents and other home remedies and nothing has worked. It's gotten so bad that my white belt looks black just from 2-3x a week training in it. The second was the extremely obvious product labels. the one on the jacket was ok, but the one on the pants was even bigger than it looks in the photos. I had to take the stitching out. Overall a nice product that could use a change to the fabric dye.

Good sizing, excellent quality gi.
My son is in Isshin-Ryu karate. His first uniform was the light weight "starter" uniform by ProForce. I hated how cheap it looked, so I decided to get him something nicer. He has worn this uniform 4 - 5 days a week for the last 10 months, with me washing it at least twice a week. I have never put it in the dryer, as I think that is the trick with these uniforms. It still looks great after all of this time. Slight wear on the pant cuffs, and softening of the fabric on the sleeves after months of repeated movement. Otherwise, perfect.Sizing is good. He was 10 when we purchased the gi. He was around 5'1" and 110 pds. The jacket was too big, but I wanted it big because he's a growing boy. I recommend this gi for the long haul. I anticipate that he will be able to wear this for at least another year.
