It works good for intended purpose cut down the maintenance on my 20 gallon from every 7 days to every 12 days I need to do a water change. Surprisingly easy to clean just pop the top off and rinse and dump the water and rinse. Use hot water NO SOAP clicks back together. Good quality plastic just wish it was a little more visually appealing

The filter turns as if it's working but it doesn't suck up any significant amount of sediment with a smaller pump. I upgraded to a larger pump and that caused the fan to completely stop spinning. Good in theory, poor in execution.

I keep a bare bottom quarantine tank and needed something more than my HOB filter as that left mulm on the bottom of my bare bottom tank. I saw this "waste collector", and was unsure if it would work. To my surprise my tank bottom looks immaculate, and I can see all the poop collected. The assembly was simple as the whole thing got shipped ready to go! The only installation was attaching air line and finding a good spot. My only problem is that in a small aquarium it looks bulky and unsightly. To be fair, quarantine tanks don't have many decorations therefore making it stick out like a sore thumb. Overall would purchase and recommend to fellow fishkeeping hobbyist.

Good for cleaning excess food and poop

This thing works better then I ever imagined. Cleans all the stuff off the bottom of the tank. I clean weekly. When cleaning i put the whole thing in a bowl so it doesn't get back into the tank. Super easy to clean.

This item does do as I tended only issue is as time goes say two to three days then the fan on top stops working. Other than that it does suck up poop and old food that hits the bottom

This product is life changing! I read the reviews but wanted to try it anyway and I’m so glad I did. I already ordered a second one and will be getting more for my other tanks. This works great if you have enough air pressure to pull it. I have 2 of these in a 125 gallon with 2 Oscars and other fish. The tank has white sand so I was cleaning out oscar poop daily before this. Now when I get up my sand is still white and all the Oscar poop inside these! I empty them about every 10 days and they are way to reassemble.

I recommend others not to purchase this product as my case is not a one-of it seems. The packaging and even the box looked fine, but upon opening, dust was all over the product, the plastic was chipped, and it looked like it was already used before.
