Z Is for Moose

I read this book for a scavenger hunt. I needed a book that began with Z and my friend suggested this one. I was a very cute book. And would be very fun to read to children... or adults. Z is for Moose has a total of 194 words, I will now endeavor to write a review that consists of 250 words. Thank you BTB (#BeatTheBacklist). Z is for Moose is an alphabet book, that starts out like any standard alphabet book, A is for Apple, B is for Ball... etc. and this book is like a movie in which Zebra is directing it and making sure all the characters are in it. Some where a little down the road, um... or pages, moose hops in and wants to be part of the action, he wants his moment in the spot light, and then begins to mess with Zebra's well planned script. Many of the pages are drawn with adorable characters telling moose to go away, and moose asking "is it my turn yet?". The art work is simple, nothing too fancy, but will still draw a child's eye, and will surly bring laughter to anyone who is reading it. There is a heart warming moment in the end, when Zebra skips over Moose at M and includes him in the end for Z, by saying Z is for Zebra's Friend, Moose. The hardcover book also has room in the beginning and in the end, so for those who wish to write long gift notes for people have lots of room. I am planning on sending this book to a couple of friends after I write them a note. HA! 284 words! Take That!!!!!

My students' favorite ABC book!
I'm a reading specialist in a public school that works with multiple grade levels. At the beginning of the year when I work with my kindergarten students on their letters and letter sounds, I read a LOT of alphabet books - so I'm always on the lookout for fun and interesting twists on alphabet books. This is, by far, my students' favorite ABC book. The twists in the storyline and the creative pictures keeps them engaged and makes them think about how the alphabet works. One of my students requests this story over and over again whenever I let them choose a book for me to read aloud. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun ABC book for their child and especially for teachers working with Pre K and K students.

We love moose!
Very simple fun story. My six year old likes the silliness of the alphabet getting messed up by the moose. My three year old loves moose and is starting to recognize the letters of the alphabet and their connection to words. So both kids really have taken to liking this. It is a very simple story but it is cute and we have read it over and over.

Great little budget scope!
This product is a great little budget scope! It's pretty clear, uses a vortex style dead-hold reticle. Handles the recoil of a youth 7mm-08. It needs to be 1 inch longer so that there's more room to mount it. Also the scope cap it came with was the wrong size in the rear.Held zero despite a few bangs on the shooting table. The clicks tracked efficiently for the 25 yard and 50 yard quick sight in we were doing.

Hilarious!
I bought this book after reading it at my sister’s house- it’s one of those books that’s just as funny for the adult reading it, if not more! I would put it on the same level as the “Don’t let the pigeon...” books.

Love This Book!
Funny and cute alphabet book. Moose impatiently waits for M. When M stands for mice, he has a temper tantrum! Love the illustrations. A favorite book for younger children. Not only about the alphabet, but also about waiting your turn and how to act when you don’t get what you want.

So funny
I’ve been a teacher for 11 years. Now I am a reading specialist for grades K-8th. Needless to say- I’ve read hundreds of books in my career. This one is one of the cutest and funniest ones ever. It’s great for teaching/reinforcing ABC skills—— while also being an easy read for a character lesson on patience, sharing, and friendship.

A-Z with a bit of a twist!
Z is for Moose.A funny little A-ZThe star detraction is than on a few pages (around P& Q) the pictures get really muddled and the youngest (3 year old) lost it a bit. However that should really be a 4 1/2 as the rest delivers in spades. The kids love it and you'll happily reread it

Genius and amazing.
Literally my favourite children's book! It is very funny and has excellent illustrations. It is about a hilarious moose who wants to be in the alphabet. I love it and so do my class- we even had a discussion afterwards about how to deal with situations without having a tantrum like the moose! Its Genius!

Funny, engaging alphabet book
Really funny alphabet book for children who know the alphabet and 'get' how it works. My class of Year 1 children love it!

Great story
I (an adult!) found this book hilarious - I haven't found a child to try it on yet but the illustrations and the characters are great ....makes me laugh every time I look at it.
