This collection is both aesthetically and financially beautiful if you know what I mean lol. This price is amazing but the dark colors really paints the imagery of Dickens novels. Highly recommended!

What is Northanger Abbey doing in a collection of Dickens' novels??? For those folks who don't know it, Jane Austen wrote that novel.

Yeah, I've read all these books over the years, and they get lost or "borrowed" as time goes by. I forgot what an absolute GEM is Hard Times. And...gads,..how many times have I read Great Expectations?! Hmmm, I wonder if F Scott Fitzgerald borrowed material from Dickens from time to time? For example, the scene in Great Expectations where Pip and Herbert are sorting and summing up their debts and bills, and how they felt like they accomplished something even though they didn't pay anything off....there's a near identical scene in Beautiful and Damned with Anthony and Gloria. Ah, maybe it was just parallel evolution, or just me drunk reading.

I wanted the books and I did get them but the product arrived damaged. Seems like I’m not the only one who has experienced this. I’ll be seeking a refund or replacement.
