Looking to cut down on salt but still enhancing flavor
Husband had heart issues always looking for salt substitutes to add flavor. Quality was fresh and added a hint of that umami flavor. Wasn’t too salty at all and health benefit with trace minerals.

Iodine without excess sodium
This is low sodium as opposed to some seaweed products and it works great on anything, whether you want to sprinkle it on salad, soup, eggs, whatever you like. I add it to my protein shakes in the appropriate daily amount the iodine content instead of using iodized salt, for example. It is not devoid of seaweed taste, but I find it palatable and easy to use.

Very nice flakes to add to popcorn, meats, veggies, homemade dog food - to add a little color - and some healthy minerals and a touch of natural iodine to the meal! Pleasant flavor - very light, not really a recognizable flavor as it is very light tasting and blends right in to anything it is added to. I have researched this company and like what they stand for as a provider of natural seaweeds and have purchased many products from them in the past - and have never been disappointed with the quality. This product brings the benefits of seaweed to the dinner table in a pleasing way.

I sprinkle this on to salads and vegetables. It does that job fine. I don't really find it tastes of anything. I don't taste it at all, really. I was under the impression it was a salt substitute, but it doesn't give that salty taste FOR ME. But that's fine. I'll finish it up since I also wanted the iodine component, but I probably won't buy it again.
