The pan arrived with scratches around the top rim of the bottom pan, caused (I assume) by friction between the two pans during shipping. This could have been avoided by separating the two pans with a cardboard or paper spacer, or even by having a different type of coating on the area where the two pans rub. I store them nested with a cloth in between, to protect them, but I wish the manufacturer had taken more care with such a simple solution. I wrote to ask them about it, but they weren't much interested -- 'just return it' they said... Rather than pay return postage, I kept it, and I do like the pan. I'm careful to keep it oiled around the rim, and it works fine.

I had previously purchased two other frittata pans. One was a very expensive one as I wanted to get the hard anodized. Both leaked terribly and messed up the whole stove when flipping.Happily, this one worked excellently and produced a gorgeous 12" flat frittata! This is the first one that worked the way it is supposed to.The other ones were worse than just flipping with a regular pan.I am hoping the aluminum will stay put as I usually try to buy stainless steel or even hard anodized to avoid aluminum. But since we only do frittatas about once a week or so, and we will use plastic utensils so as not to scratch the pan, hopefully it will be okay.

Great service and fast delivery. The pan is good looking and although I haven't utilized it for the purpose intended, I am sure it will work. The not so sure part of my purchase is the way it clips together during use. It is a flimsy looking piece of metal that marries the two pans together loosely just possibly leaving room for the pans to separate when flipping. I own a couple of other pans a little like this and when they are used correctly they work fine. The others are fairly substantial in design so I have had no problems. Having said that when I test drive this pan I will leaving updated info.

My sister used this pan while visiting her son. When she came home she asked us to buy one, too. We have also come to enjoy using this pan. It does make making my favorite over easy eggs easier, without breaking the yolks as often as was happening before.

This frying pan is very good quality, should keep on lower heat so food doesn't burn. When I ordered this item it came dented - so I wrote "Amazon" and they quickly replaced it at no charge without me having to send the damaged one back. Great customer service!!! I think it might of got dented in the shipping process by UPS. It's the perfect size, just a little heavy when using both sides to turn. Otherwise my omelets look like "pizza" now - so perfect, LOVE IT!!

too heavy for flipping,i'll go back to using a larger than pan dish, like most Italians have used

I ordered this set for my Mom and after using it several times she told me she loves it.....so MUCH easier than flipping 2 separate pans!!

The biggest advantage of this pan is you can cook your Chinese vegetables and in sauce and at the same time keep your stainless steel cooker ring ALMOST free of all splashes so it does not need a complete strip down and major clean, provided with a quick first class postal service as well.

This is is really 2 pans that hook together. I had thought it would be hinged but this means I have gained 2 more frying pans! I have used them make omelettes. You need to make sure the pan is hot before flipping the omelette.

Great non stick pans but could lock together better. First set delivered were badly damaged but Amazon replaced quickly.
