WIll this support an 8 lb crossbow without collapsing?

I've used this bi-pod to shoot my crossbow for a couple of years now. My crossbow weighs just about 8 lbs. This bi-pod is not some wimpy little piece of plastic that will break under pressure. It will support the weight of most any gun or crossbow.

Whats the lowest height it will go to shoot off of?

I'm thinking 24 inch..but I don't have it with me to check.
